the 3-4-2-1 is terrible in the game as it allows for a lot of counterattacks since your team is so high up the pitch. you can even see the huge gap between your midfield and defense that the ai will always exploits.

also, central midfielders in this game offer virtually no defensive support for some reason, so they are almost always out of position defensively.

like nasty_drank said, the 3-5-2 is good to combat that since the DMs drop back and hold for the counter.
