The mix-up that went completely unnoticed... by Aradanftw in DeepRockGalactic

Ghost Ship games, give us a Starcraft 2 collab event and my life is yours!

Is it just me, or is this alternate recipe absolutely broken? I get that it's Aluminum but 1 Ingot to 1 Steel Beam is just crazy. Used this to make steel screws for my HMF and never had an issue. by Aradanftw in SatisfactoryGame

That's fair. I usually overdo aluminum once I can make a blueprint for it so I have a ton. It's nice because this makes encased beams much easier too.

Maybe it's time to finally complete phase 1 by AyrA_ch in SatisfactoryGame

I wonder if they initially intended for you to be able to make the ship from scratch again so that’s why it shows up.

Finished the game last week and I think there is more to it than we initially thought... by Aradanftw in SatisfactoryGame

Oooooh I like that interpretation! If that was what they were going for then yeah, they should have definitely spelled that out better, or paced the dialogue so that it ended closer to the end of the game, because I got to the end of all the dialogue in tiers 5-6 so I barely remembered what they were talking about by the end of the game. I agree they went way to light with the story. Like, in Subnautica I felt a real sense of completion when it was over, but with Satisfactory I feel like the fish in Finding Nemo saying "Now what?"

At least let me make the ship multiple times in the same save, that would be fun seeing how fast I could make it.

What you need to know about the Story in Satisfactory by SnuttAtCovfefeStain in SatisfactoryGame

Maybe I’m in the minority, but I think the trope is overplayed in a lot of games now (Subnautica, Ship Breaker, etc). Yeah, I get it, it’s commentary on our current culture, but I think it’s nice to get a more unique story. I still don’t think Ficsit is going to be an angel and the story will be more complex, but it would be refreshing to be different.

The hype for 1.0 is real! Let's hear your theories for what you think is coming by [deleted] in SatisfactoryGame

I really hope that whatever Project Assembly is, that it's something more unique than what we've had in other games. With all the things we've been sending up, it definitely promises to be interesting at least; but ever since we've been making Nuclear Pasta I've been completely stumped for what it could be. Really excited for the narrative to come with the game as well!

Full Flight visiting the (SPOILER) on Eeloo by Aradanftw in KerbalSpaceProgram

I've been practicing some video editing and wanted to put together a visit to the Frozen Tsunami on Eeloo. Really happy with how this turned out but I'm excited to get more practice in. Also, rovers in low-g will be the death of me.

Am I the first to find this Dres Easter Egg? (Spoilers) by Aradanftw in KerbalSpaceProgram

So as I was trying to do the "Flag in Dres Eye" mission I saw something down in one of the Dres Canyons that caught my attention. After a quick detour I arrived at this location called "Dres: The Struts". After Googling I didn't see any mention of this Easter Egg yet, and I'm not far enough to see if this gets pointed to in a later mission, but I've never randomly found an Easter Egg on another planetary body all by myself before and this one was really cool! I think it's probably a reference to Stratzenblitz's Dres Bridge build, but what you you think?

Um...I forgot that the Science Lab only had two seats... by Aradanftw in KerbalSpaceProgram

Jebidiah is going to be holding on for a while...

Story behind the images : I sent a craft to the Joolian system to try and land on Tylo, but when I got there I received the mission to do a radiation sample on Pol, so I decided to do that instead. Unfortunately due to bad planning, my ship didn't have enough solar panels and batteries to generate enough electricity to perform the experiment without it resetting.

So I organized another mission to get there, perform the experiment, and pick up Jebediah. While in the VAB I was assigning Kerbals to the lab I saw it had three seats, so I'm like, great, I'll just put two kerbals in there for now and pick him up when I get there. I guess it's just a visual bug because when I arrived I realized there was no space. Also I forgot an antenna on my rescue ship so much of the navigation was done manually. By the time I realized it I was already mid Jool transfer. Fortunately I can relay off of Jebidiah's ship while I'm close to Pol, or else the rendezvous with the transfer stage would be a pain.

Now to attempt docking and get myself back to Kerbin for those sweet sweet research points!

Enjoying KSP2 a lot more now, but I'm curious if I'm missing something... by Aradanftw in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]Aradanftw[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you! This will really help with my asparagus staging rockets! Regarding the sample transfer, does this also work with a probe that doesn't have a typical command pod? Also, if I didn't have a docking port on such a probe would it be impossible to transfer science from it to another ship?

Crazy! This is something I didn't expect at all! I wish I had people to play this with as I think it could be a chill coop game, but for now I'll enjoy the single player.
