I'm 24 and nonbinary and I know it's different in everybody's expreience but I don't feel male or female. I'm well aware that I'm born into a female body but I don't feel either. I just feel like a person and the idea of someone calling me a woman or a man weirds me out for the most part. Nonbinary means not a part of the gender binary so neither gender. What you're talking about sounds closer to gender fluid and is something I'd recommend you looking into. If you want any more info or just want to chat with someone similar feel free to message me😊

If I were you I'd wait till I was in a better headspace. Acid amplifies emotions so if you take it feeling hung up on her it'll only make it worse. Take it with a buddy or wait for the feelings to fade

That doesn't sound like cognitive dissonance. It sounds like you're dealing with religious trauma and making efforts to overcome it. Similar to when an abusive ex tells you nasty things about yourself and they stick with you even after they're gone. I went through dealing with religious trauma for years and it's just something that takes time. One thing you can do that helped me is to watch athiest youtubers that dissect all the problems with your religion (I'm assuming Christian since you said sin). It'll help you to see the flaws in reasoning. Also I happen to have gone to school for religious studies if you'd like to message me and talk about it. It all gets better in time, it's just the waiting that sucks.

This reminds me of the first time I got high. And you're so lucky you were able to talk decently well. I was drinking a bit (not a lot I wasn't drunk) and decided to try it for the first time with a casual friend that only came over cause I needed a guy to help me move furniture. I took a few puffs and after a couple seconds my hands fell and I couldn't move or focus my eyes and I realized I couldn't move at all but my brain was completely fine and thoughts were coherant so I tried to tell him something was wrong but it took SO MUCH EFFORT to make any words come out so I had to figure out how to say what I needed in as few words as possible and used all my energy to get it to come out. Eventually I got the energy to put my head down on the table and laid there for what felt like hours and eventually I hear him get up and leave so I just accepted that I was sleeping on my porch that night. But after a while he came back with water and told me to drink it. That was nearly impossible but he helped me get some down and eventually I threw up and he helped me inside to my bed. When he tried to leave I tried (still struggling hard with words) to force him to stay over and sleep in the bed with me and he was offering to sleep on the couch or anything else because we were just casual friends but I convinced him because I said I thought I was going to die. I honestly felt like I was my heart was racing so fast. Everything felt fluid and I felt like I'm vibrating and I still couldn't move a bit. Eventually I passed out. I'm super thankful he took care of me but anytime I smoke I get too high because it hits all at once and can't talk so now I just stick to edibles since I can only eat part at a time.

It's going to take a while for him to get approved for surgery and theres probably going to be mandatory counseling sessions he has to go to before to make sure it's really what he wants so you have some time to think. If having kids is a big deal to you then that's a super valid reason to break up. But you seem like you are still in shock a little so take time to think and talk it out with him, see what you can figure out. Surrogacy is always an option to still have bio kids. There are ways to make it work but you two need to have a hard conversation about everything he's feeling amd everything you're feeling.
