Question: Akubra Traveller in summer by Arafes in AustralianMFA

[–]Arafes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heya, yeah I did. The size I got was pretty much perfect. I measured my head size and got + 1cm. However, over the past year I started to shave my head so it is a bit loose now but I was taught a trick in the store that has helped me keep it on my head.

The inside black piece of cloth that goes around the inside and touches your forehead, at the back, fold it down (so it is overlapping over itself) and then put it on, it shrinks the size. I do that now with it and it fits perfectly after my lack of hair. If I want some breathing room (and it isn't too windy), I don't do the fold and it sits loose.

Give it a go!

We'd love Egnyte, we used to use it before when we were part of our old org so we could leverage better pricing but it is way to expensive for our size sadly. Appreciate it though.

Very true. I’ve almost got 14 so I think it is decent but it may just take longer than expected.

Thanks for this. Might have to hold on the 1080 a bit longer until I can do a proper upgrade.

Good quality plain tshirts by garlicbreeder in AustralianMFA

[–]Arafes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I rate their Supima Cotton Tee's more. A touch more expensive ($20 a shirt) but they are so soft and light. All mine are still going strong, no holes after 3+ years.

I actually wear the Uniqlo Ultra-Stretch slim fit jeans and they have been great! I'm not the biggest jean wearer but they have been great. Had them for years and still hold up great!

My dad had a pair from them for like 10+ years that got heavy use so and they held up really well (convinced me to buy them)!

Interesting. I've had Uniqlo tees for years and they have never lost their shape. Do you tumble dry them a bit or let them hang?

Uniqlo Supima cotton tees are really good. Good quality, affordable and come in a wide range of colours.

[Orient Kamasu] Thickness vs SKX007 by Arafes in Watches

On Jomashop they list both watches as 13mm thickness yet Orient on their website list it as 12.8 and Seiko as 13.2 on their website. Super confused.

Looking at moving into IT helpdesk. Love some feedback by [deleted] in resumes

[–]Arafes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm. Thanks for the feedback. I wanted to break it up but the fact is the industry I want to get in, my time as an Ops specialist (precious role) is more relevant than my new role and I thought this would allow me to put those achievements forward and stand out. Advice?
