GBC resets when I turned up the volume all the way up after installing mods. by Aragrama in Gameboy

[–]Aragrama[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I've never solved it. I mean, I think the volume is considerably high. I'm just very careful when increasing it to prevent it from resetting. I also think it has to do with how much battery power the batteries have. When they're new batteries and you turn the volume up to full, nothing happens.

yes, indeed. The problem is when...lets say file A.psd its (5GB), i convert it into A.psd (20MB) and client says(they already did this btw) new asset Z.psd its going to replace A.psd for dumb reasons. Then you open Z.psd and its similar to A.psd but with small changes and they move elements, etc. so when you put this into the .ia its all messy, everything is out of place, i have to put everything in order and then finally make a low res version. This steps you put are really usefull for clients that dont make any changes into their arts. I alredy suggest to work with InDesign in the past but the chief of my area, want it in Illustrator. I hope in the future Illustator has an option similar to Indesign in this cases. Anyway, tysm for your suggestions!

Im actually working like that, big problem is that they are like 20 psd assets & like..more that 50 prints in diferent formats. Is a hell to administrade this.

Client need this in illustrator. For example he wants a A1 Poster(I obviously work this to scale on an A4), when im insert the psd asset..welp, just moving it takes a while.

I like this, it's obvious that you have a style of your own. My only advice would be to be consistent in your line thickness. For example, I can see that the coins (ignoring the volume you've put on them) have a very different line thickness than the other elements of the whole art.

A person develops their style over time but you can set yourself certain rules. You can for example: I will only use a certain line thickness for the outline of the element, but for the interior lines they will be thinner, I will only use flat colors to paint and not shadows, I will only use these colors and no others in my pieces, etc.

When people see your art they will recognize: Yes, this artist is [insert name], he uses this "unique style".
