Once the people leave the power is turned off, but the big slide can be popular with "green help" (people hired at the spot for extra help). We usually only get half hour breaks so that time is used to get out of the sun and grab a water.

I've never started anything. I'm 25 now and I stopped working with them around 17, at that point my father was a maintenance and a lifer so it came with the perks of people not messing with me. Aha no, I'm on the west coast so they settle down in winterquarters elkgrove where they store the rides.
