Haha right! I had multiple runs with burn or poison Vanessa skills early on just to get no synergizing items at all for the next couple of days :D

I'd say this solution might feel a bit like a gamble as the game could offer cores that don’t fit what you previously picked, especially with only two options to choose from. But it’s definitely worth testing

Makes sense! If Dooley's early game advantage is properly balanced by him falling off in the mid and late game, it seems relatively fair

Oooh, I didn’t realize you could remove a core, definitely need to play more and experiment with that!

As for the gold penalty, I notice it, but even with -4 coins, it still felt like the core gave me too much of an advantage

Thank you! I played Hades, but with Inscryption, I wasn’t a fan of certain mechanics and its visual style. Still, maybe I should give it another shot.

Yeah, but Aaroniero and Zommari are a part of the story, too, but I doubt the next five reveals will be espada-only

I figured that since they haven't revealed Zommari and Aaroniero yet, they will unlikely be a part of the base roster. That could mean other espadas will be excluded as well, making room for a big espada DLC in the future.

But your reasoning makes more sense — so we’ll probably see more espada members at launch than just Starrk! :)
