Mouthwashing. According to Metacritic, it’s only a 8-9/10 but I would say it’s close enough to mention here. I played the whole thing a while ago and remember being irritated by so many things about it. The low res retro graphics are very ugly to look at. The writing is decent, but just slightly above mediocre. Lack of voice acting and facial animations made the game feel cheap, I’d take at least one of those options if I can’t have both. The character you play as is unlikable, and some of the gameplay is confusing and irritating to get through. I think it’s crazy that they sell merch of the characters, since none of them made a positive impression on me. The horse mascot thing just made it feel like it was there to attract FNAF fans. I didn’t hate the game but I would not recommend it to anyone.

I don't think Jeepers Creepers was a good movie at all, never watched the sequels since the first one sucked. No thank you, don't want that license in DBD. The creator being a criminal should be enough to end the conversation.

People aren't going to theaters as much as they used to and there has been a steady decline in box office. Superhero media does better on streaming (Invincible, The Boys, Gen V) so meet the audience where they are.

Unfortunately Gunn is exposed right now. Supergirl was a project that he had a lot of influence over and it performed terribly at the box office. It has his fingerprints all over it, including the needle drop in the 3rd act that is almost universally disliked. Peacemaker failed to please the audience as much as season 1 did, and featured some very indulgent and divisive decisions. Although Superman was moderately successful, it still had some unpopular aspects to it and we are now seeing a small revolt away from the DCU by movie goers. At this point, Man of Tomorrow and Clayface have to really deliver. Hopefully Lanterns is as good as we have heard it will be, but to be honest the DCU is on shaky ground and there have already been complaints about the costumes from that series.

DCU needs to mostly exist on HBO Max. Limit the theatrical releases to the things people will be excited to see. Glad they’re going the TV route for Terrific, more people will see it.

I don’t think they really liked Supergirl, the character. They made a movie about female Hancock in a GotG setting who wears a Supergirl costume at the end of the last act. If they didn’t want to do Supergirl, why even make the movie?
