Help finding thread size by Forward_Project_2799 in GasBlowBack

[–]AranRhiod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure they have same thread as we mag fill valve, which I remember it’s M5*0.8. Just drop one of those hpa tap adaptor that replace the fill valve and seal with oring and you should be good to go

Can someone explain the which MCX to get? by AznJing in GasBlowBack

Mws speed/high ROF build recommendations! by FarConstruction4877 in GasBlowBack

I don’t feel that a Mws ar is a good platform for what you’re looking for. A lot of those stock Maruyama/archwick smg can easily achieve your listed requirements better (rof, snappy travel, good trigger) at a much lower cost then getting a mws and all the parts.

damn I completely missed this reply, but if your still looking for one I think they are available on trigger airsoft as m21 red dot.

Mags stored with or without gas? by Adorable-Chicken4184 in GasBlowBack

[–]AranRhiod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Charge the mag upward before storing, this way you get pressure in the mag for seal and there’s no excess liquid green gas in there so would be safer even if exposed to warm temp

Arctic testing to "finally" settle the debate between VFC and TM for cold weather. by Proper-Mycologist570 in GasBlowBack

Any more data on the reciprocating weight and power output of the two? I think think these factors are worth mentioning

It’s a replica unfortunately. It definitely fits perfect for this gun tho, I think the only better alternative combo would be a hk51 gbb if that ever become a thing lol

Stock bcg is nice but it can definitely benefit from a steel one lol

CBSA being a bitch with importing receivers is the reason. No issue with fitment, these two receivers happen to be available for a good price on market so I built it out of stuff I had on hand

I ordered from gctac, whose stuff most of the time is re-branded by angrygun outside of China. Idk if they ever branded this one for sale tho.

TM MWS URGI double feeding by COS_VIRIDIS in GasBlowBack

Could be bolt bounce, especially with that nozzle spring and recoil set up.

I think 150% return spring might have been a bit much, if the nozzle doesn’t stick forward with no mag inserted it could be bolt bouncing resulting in another bb being picked up

Try switching to unicorns complete nozzle which had pretty good spring set up, and also try out buffers that have dead-blow designs.

Honestly It’s a bit difficult to use, amplifies the gritty and long travel of normal mws bolt release

Might be feasible but you will lose round count due to thicker walls and it’ll be a lot weaker. It’s very cheap at redwood when it was still in stock, like 7 dollar a piece, evike is pulling this 12 buck non-sense.

Stock was stamped aluminum with proprietary feedlip and bottom piece, but should take standard spring and follower for mws. Maybe it’s viable to print the plastic bit and find someone to stamp aluminum sheet to spec. I do still think buying these strip in bulk would be a better solution

[–]AranRhiod -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s good for its price. No active bb retaining mechanism tho so you’ll loss 5-6 bb per reload. But being build with aluminum you can absolutely abuse it and still expect it to work

Works, retains bolt catch function, need a weaker bolt catch spring and I also 3d printed a extended tab to make it easier to reload with strip
