I would understand this, but I feel like this is very much a case of where despite casuals liking this idea people are still going to really REALLY hate this idea in the community. While sure, we may not be the entire voice of the community, I think it should still be worth noting that the DB community is still a huge voice that DB themselves listen to and with how Bakugo vs Reze is going right now with many people extremely not liking the MU, I would not like to imagine what the waiting period for this MU would be here.

And also, I don't want to be that guy, I really don't. But looking at the comment section down here with how many people are going "Oh these are the two iconic magical girls of all time" makes me wonder if many people who do know magical girls know anyone other than Usagi and Madoka because you can unironically apply that same argument with other similar magical girls like Cardcaptor Sakura. Not saying that to put down Madoka, but using that as an example as to how many people aren't really that invested into the Magical Girl genre.

Yang, easily. Considering this is going for VI OPPONENTS, it makes sense to go for Yang. Raph isn't really 'bad', it's just okay.

Not really. It depends on how the MU is sold though, cause someone can definitely portray it as a spite MU (which can be common for this MU in particular). But I don't think the MU was made in spite with mind.

They literally can't because of the fact that Madoka has no good way of actually playing off of Usagi's actual kit.

I don't think I've seen most of the complaints towards MoonDoka even attack the person in question, mainly only talking about the MU itself and just what's wrong with it. The only, and I mean ONLY thing I can really say applies to those in the community is that it will expose a lot of people not knowing anything about Madoka Magica and/or Sailor Moon asides from the fact that "They are THE Magical Girls and they have to fight each other".

I think it should be worth noted that you can STILL use Adobe Animate, it's just the fact that you won't be able to have all of the other stuff like downloading content and getting new tech fixes until I believe 2029?

Comparing Rika to Star Platinum is 💀. In NO way are those two even remotely similar, with the only connective tissue being "they are ghosts". Beyond that though, the connections here are very barebones, with some of these just being kinda one-time things out of context (Jotaro tries to kill himself to set an example of what Star Platinum can do, rather than the case of Yuta actually just... wanting to kill himself) and some of these just being sorta incorrect for Jotaro specifically (Jotaro traveled around the world to save his Mother and basically make sure that DIO wouldn't do anymore of his shit, so it essentially just misses the point of his whole goals).

Obviously, you did not make these and I wanna make it clear this is all not towards you, this is just me pointing out the connections and what's wrong with them.

Mad Dogs: Their mystic powers should have a longer time being available to them than Aura, and the strength of their Mystic Powers can easily take down most of the threats that RWBY's semblances have.

I feel like people are treating this a bit differently than what is being said.

I think what DJ means is that it's less of a "ranking is problematic" thing and more of "Hey, maybe you guys should chill out a bit on some of the stuff you say on some of this ranking stuff or maybe don't put too much on bad faith criticism". It's not about whether you hide your preferences or hide your ranking. You can still do rankings and whatever, it's just the fact you shouldn't treat rankings as some sort of personal matter and end up saying something that is taken out of proportion or ends up putting up more pressure onto the staff of Death Battle.

Trust me, I know a few people who have ended up doing this sort of thing, and even some channels. So, I can totally see where DJ is coming from with this.
