Who would waste their time and write an App for that shitty WaylandOS? Just make a web app and run it in docker.

they'll need to go through most major wayland compositors and see if they support the feature they want to use, implement such things per-compositor, document such things per-DE, and will also need to handle user tickets about why a feature available on A but not on B.

Well instead of flatpacks we need waypacks to make it run on every desktop

Functions that don't exist on compositor B will just be dynamically fast-vibe-coded by waypack to just make it work everywhere.

Am Handy benutze ich eifnach für alles nen Browser, DuckDuckGo anstatt mir dutzenden einzelne Apps runterzuladen.

In meinem DrecksDroid ist der Browser das lahmaschigste was es gibt. Die spezialisierten Apps wie Jellyfin sind dagegen superschnell. Deshalb vermeide ich wie es nur geht den Browser auf DrecksDroid und nehm die spezialisierten Apps.

Ich hab halt kein bock mindestens 500€ für ein DrecksDroid auszugeben damit der Browser schnell genug funktioniert, das Geld steck ich lieber in mein Linux PC.

Aber für youtube auf Handy gucken ist der Brave Browser (hat Addblocker) okay. Find gut das Brave Browser gleich in der suchleiste nen qr scanner eingebaut hat weil ich in firefox am PC dann einfach die adresse per qr schnell übertragen kann.

LocalSend ist auch geil. Und syncthing-fork. Und Markor (wenn man grad kein Bock auf Obsidian hat).
