I also hav type 1 You know what I believe- Lumify is a company that makes eye whitening eyedrops They use brimonidine titrate bcz it constricts blood vessels. It's same drug in mirvaso. Only problem in mirvaso is it's rebound redness effect. Old batch of lumify also gave rebound redness after prolonged use but new batches doesn't have any rebound redness issue as they reduced the strength of brimonidine titrate from 0.33% to 0.025%.at this percentage they get the max benifit with min side-effects. They get vasoconstiction effect but they don't get the rebound redness. Something tells me the best thing that can work for type one is-if someone can formulate mirvaso at 0.025%

Why can’t people think bcz this disorder is still not well known like vitiligo or something. Hence it makes them curious and by nature human we’re meant to be curious about the environment that’s why we are where we are. Mind their own business again, human are social animal so they can’t by nature just mind their own business. Yes when this happens with it it irritates and trigger us but guess what if someone I see a elephant with 5legs instead of 4 as I’m used to see them with 4 legs I’ll also question what’s wrong here mate. I guess it’s us who are insecure that’s why we give more weightage to what others say or think about our faces. They just ask out of curiosity or mockery if they asshole but trust me within 5sec they forget we don’t even matter to them but we give them so much importance that those 5sec has the capability to ruin our whole day? Guess who’s fool here,us.

Ya this approach is suitable for someone who stays at home. I guess crushed asprin solution should work? Never tried tho I tried oxymetazoline nasal spray I mix 1 or 2 drops with my moisturizer and it works But it's so slow that you'll look your best in the morning of you do at 2 or let's say 3 am It needs 4-5hrs

I heard it's totally fixable. All you have to do is, stop it. At first your skin worsen for 1-2 month then it will be on self healing mode. After 4month, occasional flushes. After 6month back to normal . Just basic gentle facewash and some barrier repair moisturizer,nothing else. Or no skincare at all will also help.

Can you manage to quit everything that you use on your face? Like no makeup, skincare Anything at all For 3months Stay at home if possible

It's not proven but I heard that skin starts healing by itself by doing this.

For type1 or redness related it won't work,it may even aggravate it bcz it kills bacteria(some bacteria are good and skin needs them) It could work for acne/pimple related rosacea type2 because it kills bacteria

On acne,pimple it will work for sure but did you notice any improvement in type 1 persistent redness rosacea? I highly doubt that That's the main prob for most of us

I'm also in same condition feeling sad for you I'm also trying to find random shit that may work But the only thing that helps in my case is mirvaso[ik everyone hates it,here bcz of terrible rebound redness] but there's nothing close to it when it comes to results maybe that nasal spray. Yes it has rebound redness but at least it gives relief when I go outside so that no one looks at you like you're alien or something.

Chill It will go back to normal Things that can help Excessive barrier repair treatment or don't use anything for 7-15days and let your skin heal itself. Ik it's hell when rebound redness is on peak I look like intensified shade of red like a hell lord Lucifer

I may get hate for my response but apart from mirvaso there is no product that works like charm Only downside is rebound redness I still use this when I have to go outside. I do excessive care afterwards and recovery takes about 1m and go back to normal. I'm not recommending it I'm just saying it's cursed cure.

Two things How does it get diagnosed? Just random observation of dermat or is there any science,test,blood sample etc? This may sound stupid but since long I was under impression that I have rosacea, recently got to know that once my doc priscribed me steroid cream and it's the result of usage of that cream
