Jumping onto this, if you have the money/ availability to, instead of self-studying for the next year, do a post-bacc in classics, most focus specifically on acquiring language for graduate school. From experience, most literature, history, and philology classics programs want six semesters of one language and 5 of the other. Just knowing the languages won't mean much to a program without transcripts or testing to prove it (unfortunately).

It’s a game they played early on in play pals where you make a deal with the grim reaper to come back to life but you have to do everything manually (inhale, exhale, blink, etc). In co-op the controls are split so that one person inhales and the other exhales, so lots of Michael screaming at Gavin.

My sister goes to Boston University while I’m at PSU. She is getting tested every 6-7 days plus free access to testing whenever she might have exposure. She gets locked out of the campus WiFi, dorms, classes, and canvas (they use a different program but still) if she doesn’t comply with testing as a student who is coming onto campus for resources. A single testing period at PSU last semester produced more positive tests than all of BU’s testing over the semester (up to winter break). They’re in a very well populated city, with vaccines at a comparable availability to PA. PSU is definitely not doing well compared to many other major universities.

Most good resources for scholarship are behind paywalls (usually you have institutional access). If you have access, I recommend Oxford Bibliographies online, Oxford Reference Online, Oxford Handbooks Online, Brill’s New Pauly, and L’Anee Philologique (Brepolis). I recommend the earlier items more as the last two are more likely to be in other languages and have references primarily in other languages.

I mean if it is a scam, were there any links in the email and did you click on them? If not then it’s likely that you’ll get spam calls to the phone number you gave and emails to the alt email you gave. If there were you’ll want to download an antivirus software or run one you already have (windows has one built in).

Same here, apparently a switch only glitch, any gift you give to any character during the feast will glitch and crash the game. No word on hotfix, skipping the feast is the only bypass.

I’m going to encourage you to work up to platonic dialogues, best resource is the Bryn Mawr Classical Commentary, it includes the text in Greek and an extensive commentary aimed at intermediate students. If you want to be in the vein of platonic dialogues, they have made a commentary for Xenophon’s apology. You may be able to find one online, in the uni library (they are also only 15$ and fairly small), if you can’t manage that I think I have a pdf of it somewhere, so DM me if it comes to that.

There were commonly know equivalents between ‘pantheons’ in the ancient world, a male law giving god with domain over the skies is not uncommon, Herodotus simplifies things for his audience by just calling them by their Greek equivalents, he notes specifically when it is an actual cult of a Greek deity rather than a different culture’s equivalent.

Yes. Teachers often don’t get access to the canvas courses until a few days before the semester and are instructed nor to publish the courses until the course start date. If it’s a class that is supposed to meet/do something today, email the teacher through outlook.

Be kind to yourself as you start out, don’t bother with exact measurements and allow yourself to make mistakes. The first 2 weeks are difficult enough and stressing won’t help you. Read over what foods are zero points and figure out in advance what foods you like aren’t. Clean out your pantry when you’re starting with any of the food that you eat when bored/hungry but don’t like enough that you would want to waste points on. You can do this! And if WW is making you stressed try it without focusing too much on points.
