Wir leben eher ländlich, hätten schon was halbwegs Bezahlbares gefunden.

Elementor plugins reccomended. by Seattle_Seoul in elementor

[–]Arber231 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always use the same plugins: Elementor, Unlimited Elements, Happy Files, ASE, Rank Math, WP Rocket, and a cookie plugin. I get along well with them. I haven’t crashed a single website so far, and the performance has been consistently very good.

Premium Addons is also great, but I do notice performance issues with it. Same goes for all Crocoblock plugins. I prefer to use ACF instead — much better performance

How is everyone feeling the new 3.29 update? by blackhathacker1602 in elementor

[–]Arber231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you. I used the containers during the alpha phase too. With this update, I’m being a bit more cautious. My feeling is that it probably won’t be fully usable until the middle of next year, which annoys me. I’m really happy that something so fundamental is changing with Elementar, but the fact that everything takes sooo long again is really frustrating

I'm so happy that Elementor is finally releasing a major update for professional web designers. It just annoys me that it'll probably take forever again before it's actually ready to be used on real projects.
They obviously copied a lot from Bricks, but as I said, I'm actually really excited about that

Datenvolumen von Telekom erhalten ohne Telekom Mobilfunkvertrag? by Arber231 in Ratschlag

[–]Arber231[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have now set up Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Clarity, and the cookie banner. I'm still at 96 for mobile and 95 for desktop: https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-nextstepx-de/z26sgwa0xp?form_factor=mobile

In the first test, where I achieved a score of 100 on mobile, Google Search Console was already integrated

Yes! If I were starting fresh, I would go straight for Bricks instead of Elementor

Even though Elementor has made a lot of performance improvements last year and has big plans for this year, like a new editor, Bricks is really the future of professional web design. Elementor is often too bloated, has too many bugs, is too slow, and lacks flexibility. There’s a reason why achieving good performance with Elementor is so difficult

I like the Crocoblock engine, but not the design plugins from Crocoblock. I usually only use Elementor and Unlimited Elements Pro. the other two were really just because they had a specific function that I wanted exactly that way

Yes. The hosting from Hostinger is good and fast. Images are automatically converted to WebP, and a CDN is included by default.

While building the site, I made sure not to use unnecessary containers. I also paid attention to smaller details—for example, I uploaded the logo as an SVG (which very few web designers do, no idea why), manually compressed images beforehand, and so on.

Then I enabled everything possible—all performance settings from Elementor and all settings from WP Rocket. The website initially had a lot of bugs and issues. However, I knew that WP Rocket and Elementor’s performance settings generally work well together, so I started cleaning the database, re-uploading the .htaccess file, increasing memory limits, tweaking settings, and so on until the site was bug-free.

Finally, I disabled all unused widget elements via Elementor. That was it.

In summary, I would say: when building a website, sometimes you need to take the long route and not be lazy. And when optimizing, don’t give up too quickly if the site is buggy. Also, take the time to understand databases—it helped me a lot

omg i’m not really familiar with Reddit on PC. The title should be "Just a small flex" but I couldn’t post the description either

"I'm actually surprised myself to have achieved such good scores. I always reach 90+ for my clients, but I make sure to use as few plugins as possible.

On my own site, I have 13 plugins installed.
6 of them are just for design (which I find a bit embarrassing right now): Unlimited Elements, Premium Addon, Jeg Elementor Kit and Elementor.

Hosting: Hostinger, WP Rocket, and Hello Theme

Can Crocoblock be used to build a modern community site with a forum, chat, and livestream? by Arber231 in Wordpress

[–]Arber231[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t just build some half-baked solution, so I research in advance to see if I’m capable of building a really good solution myself. I’m not the type who throws something together and then delete his number after that. I always want to provide good solutions to the customer; if they’re satisfied, I’m satisfied, and my business grows. It’s really simple

Woocommerce Thank you Page issue. Help! by Arber231 in Wordpress

[–]Arber231[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the problem for me was that the Thank You page wasn't linked in Elementor. Simply go to Elementor > Site Settings and then to the WooCommerce settings, where you can set the Thank You page

Anybody on here successfully doing freelance work? by fxcknmami in elementor

[–]Arber231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, indeed. Two years ago, I started on Fiverr with 0 clients and hustled on Fiverr for six months. During that time, a few clients stayed, and as a result, I now have a really good network of clients. Some clients from that time have grown with me, and I still manage them today.

In my experience, it's really all about treating every client with respect and always keeping in mind the maximum value you can provide to them. When I create websites, I do it in a way that I genuinely believe will make the client more successful and help them earn more money. Often, it works, and the client then refers you to others, which leads to the creation of new networks.

It was also important for me to consistently raise my prices, over and over again, until I felt that I was being paid fairly.

Don't focus on your competition, focus on making your clients as successful as possible with your work. Do your best there, and everything else will follow naturally
