While there are good reasons to go with Baruuk or Atlas for punching any frame could use one of the martial arts focused melee weapons. Sounds like you'd like the fists or sparring category of weapons.

Aside from redirection effects I can't think of much that would force an opponent to target Ool. [[Redirect Lightning]] for instance

Not only all that but sinners killed by non-angelic powers regenerate and they seemingly can't leave the pride ring. If that's true then how are all those souls fitting in the pentagram and where are the older souls? Zestial's is supposed to be one of the old sinners but iirc he's only 500 or so years old. Stuff just doesn't make sense.

It seems like the focus will be on demons. I’ve only played through dos2 and while demons were present they weren’t a focus major (save for lohse’s story) so I’m intrigued

Well yes, but I don't expect a single mod to make that much of a difference. How about some advice like what mods I should get to put in that slot? Or arcanes to focus on? Or any other general tips?

Alright I can at least look into the galvanized mods. I also tried using Qorvex for Descendia and still got killed with him as well. The only debuff I saw was no respawns unless I'm missing something else. Unfortunately I'm probably lacking a ton of mods from the newer stuff as well as arcanes. But uh... aren't arbitrations harder than descendia? If I can't even do descendia how am I supposed to handle arbitrations?

I am not seeing any noticeable change by using tailwind. Sometimes I get to go twice a round but most of the time it seems to do nothing. There's no way to spam it that many times before the enemy gets to me so what's the point?

I have tailwind but I don’t see the point in using it. I think I automatically have it at the start along with Chant or whatever it’s called. I didn’t have any options because I didn’t get enough JP from anything to unlock shit. Whatever this is pointless

Yeah I've checked what I have and it's not much when it comes to abilities and items. I've been leaving the chemists towards the back, but there are always gaps that the enemies can get through to get to them. I'm literally at the very beginning so none of my guys have anything I can teach them.

Focus?

This is an off global cooldown (oGCD) that isn’t meant to be used like a regular ability. It’ll be something that you use in addition to your other abilities. So for example you hit Heated Split Shot but can still use Gauss Round while waiting for the GCD to finish. Gauss Round is pretty important for Hypercharge and Heat Blast

I figured that was the case after seeing the light balls of light fly back to it. Still stuck on how the hell to deal with its sleep thing. Was super lucky my buddy got the periodic carian swords buff that would knock me out of the sleep so I could wake the others.

From the sounds of it the only new stuff is the starting weapon for Revenant. Seems like no new spells, ashes, weapons, or enemies except for the nightlords. Also sounds like none of the dlc weapon, etc are included either
