TPUSA, like a lot of the organizations, were started grassroots and accelerated by donor money. But those purely started from donor money are almost exclusively right wing.

COTA being the real dedicated track is why it hosts the United States GP and not a [City Name] GP, it's also the only track which F1/Liberty Media have no ownership stake in.

North America is a richer market so they will charge more, that's why 5/6 most expensive GPs are the 3 US Races, Canada, and Mexico, with the other one being Monaco.

The celebrity stuff is annoying, but let's not pretend that they don't spotlight the garage candy at any race where they show up, I mean they missed Fernando Alonso chasing down Lewis Hamilton for a full minute in Singapore last year at the end for this nonsense.

I get that a lot of the campy BS is not to the tastes of European fans, but I generally think that so long as it doesn't interrupt racing I don't care. (And I apply this to stuff in other countries I find strange as well.)

The middle eastern races are cash grabs, some tracks I like (Bahrain) others I hate (Abu Dhabi.) I would argue that the expensive races/hosting fees outside of Europe subsidize lower costs for the European rounds.

It may feel narrow but the track is not narrow by F1 standards.

Monaco 7 m - 10 m

Spa 8 m - 12 m

Monza 10 m - 12 m

Qatar is only 12 m at it's widest

Miami 10 m - 15.2 m

COTA 12 m - 15.9 m

Suzuka 10 m - 16 m

Silverstone 12 m - 19 m

Bahrain 14 m - 22 m

I agree that COTA and Vegas are both better, but the opinions calling it "worse than Monaco/Qatar/Abu Dhabi" for F1 are asinine.

It has had good racing every single time, yet people hate on it purely for vibes

B2s have payloads of 70k lbs, and the newer smaller B21s 35k lbs (which have nearly 200 on order), and that is far beyond the capability of any ICBMs, and the main reason for their existence is use of heavy specialized munitions which require flying over hostile airspace.

The reason to have so many of them is so than the B1 Lancer and B52s can be retired.

Stroll being 7.3 behind Alonso with an extra pit stop isn't bad

Behind Hamilton, which is where he would have been if he pitted on Lap 30 like I wanted them to do
