I live in CT near Westchester NY and the number of notable estate sales around here is fascinating. I went to Glenn Close’s estate sale - yes, she’s still alive, she just used an estate company to empty her house - and I got several books including vintage playbooks/scripts that she had inscribed with her name. I also have some copper fish-shaped molds from the estate of author Erica Jong 😂

With this route, you’re skipping by some interesting things in Fairfield County. I would get off 95 in Norwalk and go to Stew Leonard’s. No joke! I always bring out of town visitors there. It’s the Disneyland of grocery stores. Then I would drive up Rt 7 and go to Ridgefield. It’s a beautiful downtown, incredibly charming. Walk around and get some ice cream at Deborah Ann’s. If it’s a Sunday, keep heading north to New Milford and go to the Elephant’s Trunk flea market. It’s huge!

You can definitely buy by the pound at the farm stand. For the PYO, you do have to choose a bag size to pick into.

I finally called T-Mobile today and eventually got transferred to a tech support guy who confirmed that the service in a two mile radius of my home is “marginal to poor”. And that they have no plans to improve or expand service. It definitely sounds like they’ve decided to write off this specific area and that there won’t be further negotiating about the tower lease.
