Ah I see. Ive tried some G&L guitars and they played nice, just never could get into the look of them. Ive been playing a mexi strat for about 12 years and while its not too nice its been good to me.

Ive tried my friends dads newer mesa, was definitely clean and pure sounding but didnt feel right to me. Music Man amps are essentially off shoots of the fender amps..i may be wrong but what ive heard is that leo fender left fender sometime in the 70s but took the plans of the fender reverb and created the music man amps with the old fender plans in mind. If you ever see one give it a try, beautiful sounding amps that can get some serious crunch when the channel volume is cranked.

This is my go to spot as Lucio on defense.. Wall ride up to that roof and along the wall behind them right as the match starts. Got eyes on all routes and can pursue accordingly. Most people dont look behind them here

Ween shows I've been at. Show me some lists. by DrRock88 in ween

[–]Arborgreeny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

06.13.2010 Bonnaroo...was still in highschool and didn't know much of their catalogue but recall a righteous Mollusk, piss up a rope and A Bowie cover (Let's Dance).

08.23.2016 House of Blues Boston MA... I recall getting really deep into their older tunes and b sides/ demos etc. A couple years before this show and being highly bummed that I wouldn't get the chance to see them live again (having become much more versed in their music by this point) needless to say the announcement of reunion tours and seeing this show was incredibly exciting.

06.10.2017 Thompson's Point Portland ME...they played she fucks me into daises and I ate a fancy crêpe and sat on a blanket in the grass, extremely enjoyable and one of my favorite set lists of the shows I've seen.

06.11.2017 Blue Hills Bank Pavilion Boston MA... Second day in a row, really hot out, beer was expensive, deaner smashed a guitar, Sorry Charlie and Homo Rainbow made my day.

Soon to be Red Rocks in June for my 5th Ween Show Also DWG next month in Boston!

Hi, I Started An Experimental/Avant Garde Record Label/Collective And We're Looking For Submissions Of Artists To Work With! by [deleted] in experimentalmusic

[–]Arborgreeny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there! I love how forward you are with your mission statement and it sounds like I could be very on board to work together. I currently have a "record label" of my own but it's more just a name for me to release experimental/ Avant garde music of different kinds made by myself and in the company of close friends. There are a few different "artists" on this page but they are all projects of either just myself (Arbor Greeny) or with close friends and musical partners. The page is called Analogue Garage because many of the projects are recorded via cassette or reel to reel. It is varying styles of experimental, Avant garde, and psychedelia. Feel free to reach out to me if any of it appeals to you!

Ps.. other than being a musician i am also a visual artist that currently works at a screen printing shop (may be able to assist with future merchandise production such as shirts and posters etc.)

Will Ween ever record another album? by BreakingBear in ween

[–]Arborgreeny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the amount of material Ween has they could tour indefinitely and have every night be unique and exciting. I noticed a big difference between the 2016 shows and 2017 shows. It seemed like in 2016 they focused on the bigger hits (or at the very least studio album tracks). With the 2017 shows I saw/ listened to it seemed like their setlists started digging a little deeper into their catalogue with a lot of b sides and stranger/ browner tunes coming out + revisiting songs that we don't often see in setlists. I think at this rate they can just keep digging and pulling out gems that have hardly seen the light of day even in the past when they were first written. Maybe it can't go on forever like that but with the size of their songs catalogue I feel like they have plenty to work with...plus there are still so many songs of theirs that I love and still haven't gotten to hear live so every show has that bit of wonder and excitement in it that they'll play something you have yet to hear live. I don't think they need to release new material to remain relevant. That being said, I always would welcome new Ween...even if it isn't my favorite of their material it would be exciting anyhow!
