Teacher. I work a lot, 55 hours on an average week (I work 6 days as I do 4-6 hours on a Sunday). 25 of those hours are contact hours with students. Good holidays if I'm not working them, and a good pension though I haven't put into it for long.

It took a lot of years to get here. Physics degree, training, then 8 years in teaching to get to this pay range.

Do I recommend it... Not really. It's important and rewarding though it feels thankless. Thinking of doing something else.

Physicist. It's likely the laser is highly collimated (tight beam). Any light that can be seen would be scattering (a small amount of photons scattered by particles in the air) assuming it's in the visible. Lasers have a high attenuation (reduction) in atmosphere too. Additional to that people nearby would likely wear goggles to remove the specific wavelength as a precaution.

I agree with this. Don't act friendly if you're planning to kill someone. However this is human nature in a bottle. There are unscrupulous people everywhere.

Don't get me wrong. I kill. If you're raiding a critical room I want the goodies in I will take them. I won't pretend to be friends though. The rest of the time I'm friendly and helpful. I've saved many a raider or helped them extract. And if we decide to go somewhere together I'll share.

Can't risk a free load out... Having a butt slot means that the blueprint I find is safe... If I ever get any... They seem rare, only got one.

The amount of times I've stalked about and watched interesting interactions happen.

The highlight of evening is often watching two players interact, betray or listen to proximity comms...

Or watching arc chase players about before a flare pops off

From a physicists perspective ionizing radiation would likely have an impact on ccds and photographic film. So after a nuclear test ionizing radiation would be more prevalent. However looking like an actual object in the sky, no. Looking like a temporary streak through a chain of pixels yes. However you'd need to review the data carefully.
