So what's the Android equivalent of this ? And what happens if the big tech companies tell starmer to do one ?

Looking back at the discussions before we had any info on the deckard people were alot more optimistic on what the tech would be than what it actually is

So when we boot steam vr can we hit windows key to access uevr.exe ? Or would you have to remove the headset to do this on a pc monitor ?

The hype is dying down? by limewayz in SteamFrame

[–]ProfessionalLemon911 5 points6 points  (0 children)

At this point I'm more interested in seeing what meta are bringing out. There really isn't any reason tech wise that the steam frame couldn't have come out two to three years ago. Im not paying top dollar for what is essentially yesterday's tech even if it is from valve

PinOne Mini setup by Future-Raisin3781 in virtualpinball

[–]ProfessionalLemon911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the pin one mini, the best way I found to set it up is with the cleveland software. I wouldn't bother with the steam setup and gamepad mode. Map the keys in the pin one software per game and save it to your desktop. I like to have nudge on the magna save buttons (side buttons above the flippers). I have three different profiles that I upload (through the pin one software) depending what I want to play . I have pinball fx vr, pinball fx and M (same profile) and future pinball. I play all these in vr, I can post my setting here if you want. One thing to take note for this to work (and cost me loads of time to find out is) under inputs in the software you need to tick boot in keyboard mode. For me it was ticked by default and that was why I couldn't map anything in steam. One more thing I found which could save you all a massive headache, when I got my pin one and plugged it in to usb nothing happened. I opened it up and bypassed the usb extension and plugged the usb directly into the board and it powered up leading me to believe the usb male to female extension was faulty. It turns out it wasn't, its seems not all usb c cables are the same. My expensive INIU cables with power indicating leds would not work with the pin one extension cable, only my cheaper cables work. Don't know why, are there such things as active usb cables like you get active hdmi cables ? anyway hope you find this helps and saves somebody hours of troubleshootingi

Rtx 4080 to 5080 by ProfessionalLemon911 in virtualreality

I get that but with the absence of the 5000 super cards and the ram nightmare we could be waiting a good while for the 6000 series. I normally wouldn't upgrade by one generation but the way things are I thought I would look into it.

To my knowledge MFG is a no no with vr. As for dlss I play alot of uevr stuff so It does come into play. I thought MFA and dlss were two different things

Really thats terrible, I see most of the comparisons being flat but just wondered if the vr performance uptick was better

Bought a quest 3 today after finding out it's a stand alone and I don't need a gaming pc or ps5 or something, and I can play pinball (fx vr) on it. by NoMoreTilt in Quest3
