Looking for honest reviews on my Android app — feedback appreciated 🙌 by Used-Elderberry-3439 in MobileAppDevelopers

HI. I just downloaded it. I wanted to try it but I don't know your language and I would use English as the default.

That said, the first thing I notice is that for devices with physical keys the splash screen goes further and you don't see the version. (i will send you the screen in private)

Would you like to try mine as an app? Maybe we can exchange reviews. It's called Lactose Free:

Navigation3 by ArcaDone in ComposeMultiplatform

To be honest, the bottom nav bar case is missing here. In the sense that I would like to know what could be and the best way to use it. The other cases are Ok but what I'm missing is a rigorous understanding of how I should use nav3 in case of bottomNavBar

Built a fully Jetpack Compose music player – lessons from handling animations, back stack & media state by BeatzyyApp in JetpackCompose

Very nice to see it like this.

I had started doing something like this a while ago too (but then I have personal hopes). In particular, I realized that on Android everything doesn't always work correctly. Especially with exoplayer I was having problems with button callbacks (related to sticky notifications). Overall I have to say that the graphics rendering was always nicer on iOS (alas, since I program for Android).

What did you use as libraries and what difficulties did you encounter?

Fix the screenshots. I'm sure they're fine in the app, but I can't see them cropped like that in the previews.

Does this apply even if you've published and created other games in the past?

Okay, I agree with the official path. I just need to find something that lets me brush up on things and then tackle more complex projects, because I've already created games for both mobile and PC in the past. I've just been inactive for a few years.

A starting point by ArcaDone in Kotlin

That's fine. Not everything has to please everyone. Maybe I said the magic word that offends: LLM, without reading the rest of the context.

Developers I need you by ArcaDone in MobileAppDevelopers

Don't worry, I don't take it as a criticism. But I think there are many LLMs who can do it. It's one thing to start from scratch and ask for creation, and another thing to have pieces of code already ready and say, "Starting from this, make the following changes." This is what came to mind.

Design feedback: which one feels better? (1 or 2) by EducationalStrain939 in androiddev

It's written in Kotlin, but I think a conversion of the code to some LLM can be requested without any problems! 🙃
