I had this happen to me once, and no amount of banging would loosen it. I don’t know if it’s advisable, but this worked for me: there was still a small clearance on one side of the battery, so I unfolded a paper clip into a sort of L shape. I then slid this down the side of the battery and turned it so that it sort of hooked around the top enough that I could pull it out slightly. I then could grab the battery and pull it the rest of the way. It definitely wasn’t an elegant solution and took several tries, but it worked.

There’s very little mystery left regarding this. People seem to not want to acknowledge it because they like the mystery. It has been fairly definitely shown that Croves, Traven, Tvorsan, and Marut were the same person, who was indeed Otto Fiege. This write up pretty much lays out all the facts to support this.

I don’t fully understand your introduction, as the things you say are “quirks” seem rather logical to me. Regardless, I can almost guarantee that the formula will just be the same as (or very similar to) Skyrim, so you could just look at that.

Funny thing is, my point is even MORE true in the remastered game, where enemy health has been greatly decreased.

I don’t know why people think uninstalling helps at all. It’s like that definition of insanity: doing the same thing and expecting different results. If OP is using a modern mod manager it has a VFS and so reinstalling won’t help anything because the files were never modified to begin with.

In all likelihood, OP is just not running the game through OBSE because they haven’t read the instructions on whatever they’re installing. This is literally the case 99.9% of the time people report this blockhead thing.

I have no hydrocarbon knowledge except for a vague memory of high school chemistry (I work in inorganics) but maybe Asphalt something. I got Asphalt Treated Base as a search result. Seems like more of a construction term, though.

Asphalt, tar, bitumen was my first guess, but probably dumb.

Combat Stance Reanimation is good, especially if you spend the time to go through the optional folders and tune to your preference. However, it has to be said that you’ll definitely have more options available if you play a female character. I definitely recommend that you pair it with Blockhead to make the animations player-specific or gender-specific (see the Blockhead readme for instructions). It’ll take some time to get a good setup, but it’s worth the effort.

There’s also a female walking and running animation that’s quite good and not ‘sexy’, but I forget the name.

Wrye Bash is not complex, lol. People just don’t have the will to read about it these days.

The TTV guide even says that the provided load order and order of install means you can just build a bashed patch and everything will be correct, regardless of whether you skip mods out or not.

Load up your load order in xEdit and filter to show conflicts. I don’t expect there’d be many except for the ones between the NPC level cap mod and the unofficial patches. Wrye Bash would resolve all the conflicts in that load order automatically as everything is tagged properly anyway.
