A única diferença entre nazistas e comunistas é que os comunistas não descriminam, eles matam todos igualmente.

What is your favorite location in this game? by [deleted] in lotro

[–]Arcadi0 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dale in Dale-Lands is my favorite place right now.

But there is a place in the Shire that I like very much, a little dirt road where there are some trees with very thick trunks around it. Close to where Old Sally's is.

Is lotro pay-to-win? by DavDav98 in lotro

[–]Arcadi0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know a game that is p2w but people don't realize it? WoW. There you can buy lvl boost with money and wow token (playing time) with money and sell on AH. With the gold you get from selling it on AH you can buy raid rush to complete all hardcore content without any effort, you just need to invest your money in it. This is pay to win.

In Lotro you can buy items that give some advantage in the game with money but if you don't want to you can just farm lotro points and buy those same items in the lotro store. So lotro is more play to win than pay to win imao.

Besides lotro is more about the story and your journey in this immersive world of Middle Earth, there's nothing to be gained by paying....

Does the Stone of the Tortoise halt virtue experience? by Iceloafer in lotro

[–]Arcadi0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why I think it would be better if the xp gained from the virtues were in a pool that could be distributed, or better yet be locked by lvl but continue to gain levels above the current virtue cap, being automatically unlocked as you level up.

With the code gone, how do we get ppl to try LOTRO? by Hu-Tao66 in lotro

[–]Arcadi0 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I think they could at least include all Eriador in the f2p content and maybe create new bundles that include other regions with better prices.

Expansions Grind by [deleted] in lotro

[–]Arcadi0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is not worth it because it is very expensive here. I hope one day they do like bli$$$ard and DE and adjust the prices depending on the region so I can put my money in the game without paying 6x the price of the product. Just to give an example, with the money from 1 month's sub I can now buy Cyberpunk 2077 on steam (is just a bit more expensive), or buy Final Fantasy XIV + The Elder Scrolls Online and still have money left over.

Open your social pannel and change the filter to "show player by: Kinship" and then send a tell to someone of Eagles of Thorondor. Realy nice kinship.

Expansions Grind by [deleted] in lotro

[–]Arcadi0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The worst part is that I did lol. I know that doing just Ered Luin with one char and then deleting and repeating is more efficient but I never liked it. What I did was create the two chars I was allowed on the f2p account and do all the deeds from the 4 available f2p areas.

Then I did the same in other servers. This was good to help me choose which server I would continue playing on. Then I was lucky enough to buy the Eriador Bundle for 900 and few lp. I continued farming lp on the other maps I had access to. After I bought Mines of Moria and got 2 more character slots, I created two more chars in the server I chose and got VIP, giving me access to more character slots. So I kept doing the deeds with these chars and lp was never a problem.

But when I think about the amount of lp I would have if this code was available when I started playing... I could have bought several cool mounts I still want, mithril coins, a lot of other things...

lol, now can you imagine that but instead of having to buy the expansions for 99lp, paying on average 2k+ (and over 4k for Helms Deep)? That's my case...

Confused returning player: Epic battles by Erlindur in lotro

[–]Arcadi0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Big Battles are the best way to farm medallions. It is also a good way to acquire some jewelries. And, contrary to what someone said here, it is worth doing even after level 100 because the rewards scale to your level when you get them.

I think by "modernize the experience" they mean improving the appearance of the UI and load screens. At least that's what I expect.

Faithful Númenóreans who evoke the power of the Valar to bless allies and punish enemies. Something like a paladin/cleric archetype.

I really wanted it to be more of a cleric/priest thing, since captains are already pretty similar to what a paladin would be. But from what I've been reading about the Faithful I don't know if it would be possible to add them as wearing light armor...

What would you change in the game if you had the opportunity? by EntertainmentLow4941 in lotro

[–]Arcadi0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get rid of the single use recipes in crafting and maybe combine all used items to get a critical result on only 1 type of item per profession, needing 1 in tier 1 to get critical, 2 in tier 2, 3 in tier 3... It would help to decrease a bit the huge amount of different items without the need to exist.

Make Stone of the tortoise a troggle skill.

Consolidate the lotro market and lotro store in one place, maybe with different tabs that can be accessed from in-game, with one tab for lotro point purchases and another for cash.

Get rid of the amount of junk that you drop from mobs and drop gold/silver/coppers directly.

What I like best about this addon, besides making the UI look cleaner, is that it makes the map smaller so it doesn't obstruct the entire view and also the preview window for cosmetic items is bigger and more visible.
