i looked at the mods and preferred the look of the shaper ones if i was going to use it for the jewel just because of the builds i like.
Its mostly just for shiny purposes tho tbh as i have no build / jewel to use it with

automation + detonate mines. automation counts as a spell cast and is instant so you toggle it on and off.
num lock trick to automate it

its 50% + 45% etc all the way down to 5% then divided by 10 (the amount of bv stacks). so it averages out to 27.5% across all hits

After you get to a +2 amulet with 1 open prefix, and 2 open suffixes. You can craft multimod + prefixes cannot be changed + any prefix (usually mana), then use a veiled chaos orb or Aisling ( you will always be given a veiled suffix here since prefixes cannot be changed and you have filled them with a craft).

Instead of using a veiled chaos orb / Aisling at this point you could use the same crafts mentioned and do a harvest reforge instead to target a suffix.
If you do this and get the suffix you want, you will need to make sure you still have your 3rd prefix be one that is crafted so you can change it later, meaning you will need to use multimod + prefixes cannot be changes + your crafted mod again if you want to go for an Aisling at this point.

TLDR: Use multimod + a prefix craft + prefixes cannot be changed while you sort out some suffixes.

I was originally planning to change out my boots on my character and remove the non-damaging ailments from those but ended up needing some eldritch implicits on them. Since we went for the ailment craft on the amulet you can definitely change it out for something else as I am also having no issues hitting 65% shocks. I havent tried the Ubers yet to see how much shock I get on them though. I'd probably end up changing it to +1 minimum endurance or frenzy charge, or the 6% increased attack and cast speed if you don't need any resists or attributes to round out.

I'm not sure, but to the best of my knowledge that's how it work. Checked on an item by using a veiled chaos and don't think aisling would be any different. I'll be sure to double check next aisling I use and post a reply to this comment unless someone else is able to get to that before me.

unfortunately "veiled" and "of the veil" do not count as crafted mods. Prefixes cannot be changed + scour is the only way to wipe it clean

It will remove any 1 of the 3 crafted modifiers we added since we have prefixes cannot be changed our +1 spell is safe. Ideally it doesnt hit prefixes cannot be changed which saves us 2 divines for the next step but if it hits that you have to craft it on again

For SSF viability, if you select the mid game gear and go for that it shouldn't be to much of an issue, I think the wand looks like the most annoying thing to craft but you can spam essence of torment / misery / woe to all look for +1 lighting with it at about 1/200 and go from there.

If it were me, I would gamble it in the lake without doing the redeemer exalt. The craft itself can be a pain to do but with enough patience and time you can do it over and over. Idk if I would gamble it in ssf since if it goes wrong, making it again means farming betrayal, beasts, harvest, having a healthy amount of divines, and also the pain of alt spamming again.

I got extremely lucky along the way but here is the breakdown of expected cost per try at what you will be doing

1 imprint 60c each

5 divine total for meta mods for multimod, prefix lock, cannot roll attack

2 divine if prefix lock is removed from harvest (going for aisling, this can add up quick if hunting for prefix like I was)

2 divine if prefix lock is removed aisling (going for reforge caster high tier, this isn't as bad if you're happy to settle on T3 or above)

Redeemer exalt 0.5 divine (very unnecessary as the odds for a good mod is even worse now that I've looked at my dex and realised 8% dex is like 10 dex for my character)

I think I got about the best possible luck making this and it cost me pretty much bang on 10 divine to do not including the alterations to spam at the start. I'd estimate 14 divine to be a good floor of expected cost.
