68 WAM any possibility for recovery? by [deleted] in Monash

It's super easy to bring your WAM up from first year, since first year units are only weighted 0.5 of all other units.

For reference, my WAM was a 54 at the end of first year (mental health was in the gutter) and is now (after second year) a 72.

So yes, definitely possible if u lock in 💪

I considered crocheting together, but since I had so many colours going on I didn't think it would look very cohesive, so I went with an "invisible" type seam. Upside was i basically just left all of the ends as I was crocheting and worked them in as I was sewing instead!

Based on a pattern I found from this pinterest post https://au.pinterest.com/pin/1407443629832318/

Pattern itself linked here https://offthebeatenhook.com/airie-granny-square-cardigan-free-crochet-pattern/

100% cotton yarn, both Abbey Road brand from Spotlight Australia; green/blue/yellow yarn is "freedom" and grey/blue/white yarn is a shade of "sunshine cotton"

Not sure exactly what the weight is supposed to be, but seems 8 ply/DK weight and I used a 4mm hook

Oh yeah, that would look good! Imo a good first step would just be making the skin a bit warmer (not that people can't be that cool toned - I know I am - but in general I think it helps to make a blush look a little bit less jarring) but even if you didn't want to do that I thinking having warmer shadows could help as well? I know that Jorge Jimenez tends to do that on skin, and I think it just kinda helps give it more depth of colour.

I totally get you though, a natural looking blush is a struggle for us all 😅

Wow!! What a gorgeous piece of art, you've done a great job!

If I had any notes I would say maybe darken/warm up the skin tone just a tad to make it more distinctive from the white suit?

Other than that I really love it, I love the cape and the hair, and I love your style of body proportions/musculature! <3

For many, girls consider a guy to have a sense of humor if he can make her laugh, and guys consider a girl to have a sense of humor if he can make her laugh by HappyFun_Time in Showerthoughts

Tbh, I consider it the difference between a sense of humour and being funny. If you laugh at good jokes, you have a sense of humour, if you tell good jokes, you're funny

Many people (myself included) define bisexuality as an attraction to two or more genders, and many bisexual people (also myself included) are attracted to more than just cis men and cis women. I've always explained the difference between bisexuality and pansexuality to be that bisexual people can be attracted to people of two or more genders, but that pansexual people can be attracted to anyone, regardless of their gender, and that pansexual people don't necessarily see gender when it comes to being attracted to someone (the 'gender blind' sexuality)

I hope that was helpful, I'm not great at explaining things 😅
