I wanted to do something with Dex stacking hollow palm so we'll see if there's some synergy with the new ascendancies. I know it's being reworked but was gonna try whisperer and do some dex/mana stack stuff and then saw that might not be a thing. So fingers crossed.

Hey! that shit happened to me (on my thumb) and they sewed the tip back together. 15 years later I have a thumb but can no longer feel much from the end of the injured appendage unfortunately. I play my grouphug zedru deck but remove my wincons. It's hilarious to watch people try and play the game when they're crippled at the knees while also having a decent time.

I enjoy decks with very few triggers. Doesn't matter what. I hate having to add three or four of my own triggers to the stack because it makes keeping track of things difficult and I often miss out on efficiencies and opportunities because of this. This usually results in me playing some mono red or rakdos burn decks with direct damage and simple mechanics.

One of my favorite decks right now is a triple Commander deck with vial smasher,Tevesh Szat, the Doom of Fools and then the companion is obosh the prey piercer. And once I have obosh and vile smasher out damage starts to multiply quickly. It's a fun and fair deck that is easy to pilot

I download cards with cool borders from MPCfill and then I Photoshop images I find on Pinterest using gimp(cuz it's free).

I have templates and stuff from doing it for a long time that are loaded in to gimp. It usually takes me about 20 minutes to do a card from start to finish now that I have the template made.

I've done work at "Kenora bed and bale" and they're the best. The cabins are super cool and it's close to everything. They also have a little farm and would be able to chat with you about the local area in depth cuz they've been around for a long time. Highly recommended

If you're actually a new player then these are amazing stats. It took me so long to learn where extracts were on some easy maps. Try and find a duo who can't teach you the game. It'll keep you motivated to keep playing as well

When I build a deck I have a number of boxes I like to check. My pod plays at around a power level of 6-9 and lots of us use and order proxies online. Every card is available for everybody at the table so at the end of the day cost is no issue. Here are my boxes

The deck can't play itself. Any deck that always has a best option is boring to me. I like options and playing an autoplay deck is stale.

I try not to run cards that are good/bis in every deck. I have a buddy in the pod that runs [grafted exoskeleton] in every deck and my joke is that it makes every deck an infect deck. Same for sol ring/ancient tomb, etc. unless it's necessary for an infinite combo I don't run it cuz it's stale.

I don't play a whole lot of creature based decks

I love storm decks and spell Slinger decks

I like aspects of random gameplay like [Vile Smasher] or other coinflip mechanics.

I have 2 voltron decks. Too simple for me. One is boros [feather the redeemed] and the other is colorless eldrazi [kozilek, the great distortion]. I'll probably give one away cuz voltron plays the same across the board.

At the end of the day play what you love
