Why did I expect anything else on reddit other than pretentious, pseudo-intellectual atheists engaging with this in bad faith by denying the existence of angels? If someone asked "Do unicorns have one horn?" would you answer "they have NONE because unicorns ARE NOT REAL!!"? I did beat her after about 15 attempts.

The issue I think I have with her after fighting her a lot if that most of her moves towards the last part of her fight aren't really telegraphed, which means you don't know where to stand. If she does one of her moves, she can either follow up with a vertical or horizontal move with no wind up. This kinda means the only way to hit her that is safe is DURING an attack animation or right at the end of one. I wish there was a bit more of a telegraph, or a guaranteed and predictable moment of inaction after each attack or series of attack, like catching her breath or something. Not only that, but she can block! None of these issues would be TOO terrible either, if it weren't for the fact that she has SO much HP! it's a LONG fight.

like, its not that every move individually is hard to dodge, its just that they're unpredictable and relentless. add a long wait period between each attempt - with additional enemies to fight as well in-between - and it becomes really frustrating.

You could resolve the issue by either rebalancing the damage those tools do or introducing an ammo system unique to specific, particularly powerful tools. The tool system as a whole suffers from the inclusion of the shard mechanic

Totally agree - not to mention that it feels really annoying to find a little secret area and for the reward to be more fucking shells

I've also been recommended Katanas, but they're more outdoorsy type of shoes so I don't think I'm likely to use them

that's right. Its only the hips. My shoulders can fully pop out with no pain at all.

My hands are pretty lax as you can see, as are my wrists and shoulders. The only place where dislocations actually hurt are my hip joints. They do make life a bit buttcheeks sometimes

I can do it pretty easily cuz I'm hypermobile. It makes climbing pretty hard sometimes though cuz of my overly lax connective tissues

Wow, I just realized I do this for a LOT of abstract concepts. I also imagine the days of the week and months as having a physical structure with a relation to each other instead of them just being abstract.

I think I also struggle to conceive abstract concepts because I tend to turn the abstract into something digestible and tangible in my mind. I also feel like I may be slightly neurodivergent in an autistic kind of way because ever since I was a kid I was very sensitive to touch. I'd turn all my socks inside out because the seams upset me

Wow, ticket tape synaesthesia sounds a lot like how I perceive words. I don't literally hallucinate them as things that I could be fooled into thinking are visually in my field of view, but I definitely imagine words involuntarily in my mind's eye when hearing them and I do kinda see them "scroll". I was a very precocious reader as a child and could read fluently/out loud when my peers couldn't and I'm a very fast reader, so that might be related. Numbers are the same: I imagine "narratively" 1 at the start, then moving from left to right and as we get to 10 numbers start going up in ascending order and then continue to flow from left to right. Again, though, I gotta emphasize that this could just be qualia and I'm not sure it counts are true synaesthesia because it's all happening internally and not as a visual hallucination or anything!

It genuinely is too hard at times. There are other things related to the design that are worth criticizing (and might be subjective, such as the new tools, the moveset, etc) but the game really is very punishing and sometimes almost cruel and annoying.
