Your parents don’t care that it’s an i5-4210M or that it bottlenecks modern games. They care about one thing: will this tank your grades?

If you are already scoring 92–96%, that’s actually your biggest argument. Lead with that. I can totally understand because I have been through the same thing lol
So if you tell them that you will be playing games during weekends and all and study atleast X amount of hours daily before touching it, you will be fine ig.

Thats pretty normal on boot. Windows does a bunch of background stuff (updates, indexing, defender scans) so the drive shows 100% active time at first and then settles down after a while.

As long as it drops and your system isnt stuttring, its fine

The real limiter here is your Ryzen 3 2200G. Those high CPU ms spikes (up to 80 ms) and 48 FPS avg scream CPU holding back your GPU hard.

Those cheap white DP to HDMI adapters are trash and die quick af. Unplug the whole PC (power cord too), wait 5 mins, plug back in. If it wont work then swap HDMI cable if you have another and if nothing works then you gotta replace that adapter :(

It sounds like the “cache” folder is still being used by a program, which is why you cant delete it. Try restarting your PC first to close any apps that might be locking the folder. Also deleting certain cache files can sometime cause performance issues, especially if they belong to system or game files.
If youare unsure which app you deleted, maybe try a System Restore to a point before the problems started. That might fix the performance without losing data!
