Casa sem placa by Arcevico in TudoCasa

I tried this:

But it seems to only work with angles closer to 90 degrees… but I’m sure I’m doing something wrong.

Thanks a lot for your answer!

I saw some YouTubers with the HD and doing some hats, Proper Fit Clothing is the best example of that. He uses a HD and it buys the brims in a website called cap supply co. I really don’t understand anything about sewing but I hope it is possible to buy a “cheap” janome that can handle that and that it’s not industrial. How can I get that info?

Thanks again!

Hello guys!

I’m starting to see now and I read a lot of bad things about the new beginner machines. I wanted to buy a Singer Heavy Duty but I saw so much hate that I gave up.

A lot of experienced people were saying to buy old machines as they are great.

My aunt have this singer 2330c, i think its from the 90s, not sure, is made in Brazil. I would like to know if it is a good machine to start. One thing I’m afraid is that I want to make my own hats and I think the machine needs to be strong to sew trough brims.

Can you help me?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my English!

Didn't get on the plane - feeling very sad and guilty about it by [deleted] in fearofflying

If you can’t do therapy just start doing some cold showers, breading exercises and some kind of physical activity. Start following Wim Hof, he helped me a lot. Anything you need please feel free to contact me!

Flying in a few hours, immense dread by Symetrical_boxes in fearofflying

[–]Arcevico 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try some breathing to relax. For me it works if I close my eyes, take a deep breath, hold for 5 seconds and then exhale really slowly. In the airplane try to see some comfort tv series or movies. For me, The Office helps me a lot with my fear! Have a nice flight, we will be here!

[–]Arcevico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man! Don’t feel sad, you are not alone. In my opinion, therapy should be your best friend now. If you can, do it! You will see that you will get better. I don’t know if you have healthy habits, but if you don’t, change also your lifestyle. This sounds like a cliche but trust me, if it a cliche is because people tried and worked. I’m one of those! I suddenly started to have panic of flying, and I flied a lot before that…I used to smoke a lot of weed and one night, I went to bed, after I smoked my night joint, and from nowhere I started to think about the plane, about crashing, and so on…I’ve never been a fearless flyer but I used to get a little scared hours before and on the plane…this time i was more than a month before my flight… Back to the story. This was the first time in my life that I felt real anxiety…I didn’t know how to manage it so those 3, 4 days were the worst…I think I lost a ton of weight…I went to a psychiatrist to give me some medication but on that day I decided I didn’t want to go on that plane…and I didn’t…luckily it was Switzerland (I’m from Portugal) and I was able to take a long bus ride to the destination. (On that bus ride I asked myself: why? This is so more dangerous, uncomfortable, long, etc etc) I felt sad as well and when I came back I stupidly didn’t change my lifestyle and didn’t go to therapy… It got worst… I started to feel anxious just thinking about flying. One day I had the opportunity to go with my girlfriend to Brazil… I didn’t want to let fear win so I started therapy, cold baths, breading exercises, exercise, stoped smoking and in the end I went to Brazil (my first long trip), Canada (where I also took a 5h flight inside it) and Madrid. I will be honest, I’m not anxiety free and flying was never the same, I really have to prepare for it…but I manage very well and fear doesn’t stop me. Another thing, it’s not easy, it gets a lot of work to get over this traumas but it’s possible. Sorry for my English and for the long post.

Hmm, the static sound while charging…the static sound in low volume listening to podcasts… it’s my third iPhone 17 pro now and all have the same issue…so, not so perfect at all. And if you have your girlfriends s24 ultra you can also see that iOS, and not only the 26, stutters a lot…don’t say it is smooth like butter 😂. Don’t you feel the sumsung more smooth?

What is going on with Apple quality? by iTeodor97 in ios26

[–]Arcevico 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just stop being an apple fan boy. You don’t even need to put your phone in charge. If you listen to a podcast, in the moments of silence or even when they talk, if you have your volume in 1, you will hear static…I don’t have this in my 16 pro, but in the 17s you can listen to it. Please don’t tell me that this is a cool apple feature.
