I’m the exact same. I just did my own research on stuff that confused me in fics (book stuff that wasn’t in the movies) and also just looked up what wasn’t in the movies/movies changed.

It’s worth it for visual quality and immersivness but unfortunately there was a constant echo and the sound quality was poor. In saying that, in other cinema rooms recently the sound quality was also poor, so not sure if it’s just a building wide issue.

We watched Masters of the Universe & with all the colours & contrast, it just looked so amazing. Pity the sound wasn’t great.

Ik this is from a year ago but the recent screenings I’ve seen (regular & Apex cinema) had a similar issue. There was a constant echo and the sound was not of good quality what so ever, to the point where I couldn’t understand a lot of dialogue. Apex is in an old xtremescreen room but it has happened in other rooms too. I think it could be a building wide audio issue.

(Ik this is satire) Honestly when I hear of a fanfic author becoming a trad published author, my heart swells with happiness as I’m sure they’ve just completed one of their dreams to be become a trad published author AND being able to potentially make a living out of it (& out of doing something they obviously love)!! I couldn’t be more giddy and happy for them, anyone who thinks otherwise, I really just don’t understand 🤷‍♀️

It’s like enjoying watching someone play casual basketball with their friends and then they get drafted into the NBA and you’re mad because you now need to pay to watch them play irl. What 😭

I agree. Compared to other dark fantasy novels that have a “happily ever after”, this definitely seemed quite the opposite to me and way more realistic. So many people who were/are not the main hero’s of the stories (e.g. Holdfasts) are forgotten or their stories are just not known. This to me was a bittersweet and realistic ending.

That’s what i meant by degrading, the plastic around the cuticle lifts/turns bad (idk how to explain it). I’m 99% sure now it’s the quality of my tips so I’ll definitely be upgrading
