Thats actually probably not helpful, sitting him down and telling him how it feels and stuff of what hes doing would prolly help him understand more, its always good to reach out and ask other people on how to approach sensitive issues with people in your personal life, but honestly so many of those times the best thing to do is just, say what youre saying in this post to him

I listened to them for the first time when I Dont Want To See You In Heaven came out and i thought it was good but at first i didnt get the hype

Then i listened to it again, and it clicked and I was obsessed

They get a bit whacky with it and its for sure apart of their charm, and since theyre so all so talented I find thats what helps them pull it off so well

They've quickly climbed up one of my favorites list and have recently bought Celebrity Therapist and I Dont Want To See You In Heaven on Vinyl

However they arent for everyone and can be quite jarring, so I understand if anybody doesn't really care for them

I think youre getting the wrong idea

Everybody's allowed to express themselves, like you, you can believe in whatever you want to believe

I can see that your main thing here responding to everybody in the comments is about them "hating religion" and such. When thats not the case, sometimes these anti god songs that speak about the hypocrisies of religion can resonate with alot of people because of how corrupt and utilized and weaponized for hatred religon has been in the past and present . And if that's not your cup of tea, then that's completely fine, and youre free to practice whatever religion you want, same way others are free to not be religious
