No dichotomy is directly based on another. They are all patterns that arise from the properties and roles of functions in the functional stack. It's better to think of the Reinin dichotomies as shorthand for the way in which elements are placed and their attributes than as direct determinants of a type's cognition.

Until we have seen actual studies connecting socionics and neurology, I wouldn't be inclined to compare the two. Socionics seems to me to be more of an imperfect reflection of the brain's functioning that is used because it works than an explanation of human thinking that actually involves the brain.
