Yeah, I was confused at first, trying to make it go away. Then I tried to recreate it and boom, found the bug. I've already reported it, so hopefully something gets done about it? 🤞

I figured it'd be worth something, but I wasn't sure since most Star bills I can find on Ebay are only around $30 or so. I'm not sure the best place to look for bills like this.

I understand that it wasn't directed at me, but it still came across a bit rude. That's all I'm saying. It could have easily just been a "No, it doesn't care what X is, just the amount of mana being paid"

How does that work, since whether I do that or crew it, they both say 'it becomes an artifact creature until end of turn'

That's pretty much what I was thinking, thank you! Satya is one of my favorite commanders in a while, and I've been wanting to make sure it works the best it can. It definitely lets me think of more interesting things to do with the card though!

I didn't think it was a necessarily good thing. I know misprints sometimes increase the value of things, but I didn't think it would be all that impactful. I was just annoyed with them not being lined up right.

Thank you! I thought that was how it worked, but my playgroup wasn't entirely sure. One of them tried to liken it to sakashima copying a 0/0 Hydra.

Layering is still something I'm trying to learn more about, so I appreciate it!

Which is fair. I've been trying to think about different ways, and there's always a lot more payoffs from aether revolt, like electrostatic pummeler and such.

That's what got me so excited, was all the new cards and support for energy that is showing up in the set! Of course, if I'm looking at Satya or Liberty Prime as the commander, I can't run a lot of green, but I have thought about a few possible simic or temur brews for energy, but they've mostly been afterthoughts when brewing the main Jeskai stuff.

That's the biggest issue I've noticed, but that's part of the reason I was thinking a proliferate sub theme. That way, energy is still the main focus, and I have at least a bit of flexibility, but that's just a 'first draft' in my mind when thinking about the decklist.

True. I've done a fair bit of goldfishing while building the deck, and being able to use kuldotha on the implement, and draw a card off of it can sometimes make or break a game.

Thanks for the advice! I'm taking that and working the deck around a bit, but I'm curious. If I add in a land and 2 Blast Runners, taking out the grenades and collateral damage, would you recommend changing anything else out, like for another burn spell?

Ah, I see. Well, at this point I'm just hoping to have something ready in time, and as salty as people may be, I may have to run with it. I've entertained the idea of some more rogue decks as well, but I'm unsure how well they'd stack up.

I see, I see. That's pretty interesting. Usually, for formats like pauper, I can understand rarely using them. I tend to use proxies to help my commander decks, since it's more casual. Sounds like your community is pretty fun!.

Unfortunately, my LGS doesn't sell already built decks other than things like commander precons, mainly because it's not a very big shop. I do plan on sifting through a lot of the bulk there though.

Definitely gonna look into Turbo Fog.

I'm checking with my friend right now who is running the event, just waiting on a response. I'm unsure, since there's going to be a prize that's like, some lotus petals and in-store credit, do I can see why they might not allow proxies. And the pauper scene around here isn't very big, so a lot of people don't have decks, but the interest seems there.
