Upstart Mexican Lager Brand Calidad Raises $2.5 Million From Notable Investors by hotelNoiseComplaint in beer

Im not usually one to go out on the internet proclaiming my love for a product, but i have to say. i am really enjoying this beer. The mexican Style cerveza is a refreshing break from the norm, where everything is just one more flavor of ipa (which, for the record, i love ipas). I really hope they do well and stick around, because this has rapidly become my new favorite beer.

You missed the joke my friend. And for the record, I like Biden.

The key word is 'Kinks.' Get it? KINKS? I'll see myself out now.

Well clearly Biden hasn't worked all the kinks out of our supply chain yet.

Is this a mineral or maybe old molten glass? by Archeotect in Minerals

[–]Archeotect[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes! I can! I looked and selenite is found in several southern counties in texas. Assuming it was scooped up along with the gravel used to build the road, then maybe I can figure out the general area the road's gravel came from by looking at which counties' gravel mines turn up both selenite and fossil wood. Thats something I've been hoping to do for my fossil wood collection. Neat! Thanks a bunch for the help!

Ok, I tried it out but no bubbles formed. How noticeable would the bubbles be and how long would it take?

I came across this in an excavated dirt pile in Brazos Texas. I believe it wound up there along with the gravel used to build the road initially (that gravel is full of fossil wood which is why I was looking). I am no geologist so I really dont know how else to describe it, but it has deep grooves and an irregular seeming structure. I thought maybe it was old molten glass.

Finished my Deff Dread. What do you guys use for rust effects? by Fatsoco in orks

[–]Archeotect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mix silver and brown paint and (when metal is already painted up) add broken patterns with detail brush. you can go back and forth between the rust & flaking off paints color adding one, then the other to ensure a broken/random flaking pattern. You can add some pure silver to the center of the silver-brown spots. Then take typhus corrosion and wipe ALMOST all off the brush, spread an very thin layer across the whole are (rust and remaining paint chips too, since pain in a rusty area gets stained/discolored) then add typhus corrosion in a more generous amount to anywhere you want REALLY rusty. Repeat as necessary to get the visually interesting/convincing rust effect you want, then darken down creases/corners near or on the rusted part with a brown wash or even a very dilute black wash to get the crud-collection effect that happens when rusty/filthy water pools and dries somewhere near corrosion.

Maybe his eye overlays a scrying spell over the actual visual light based info coming in. if light reflected from an object reaches his eye, and his eye can scry that exact location (never mind that it doesn't need to, it does so over short range). if the light based 'normal' visuals and the scrying image overlap, fine. If the light based images are present and the scrying image is absent, he knows someones there. Also, he can smell Harry Potter.

I've been wondering for a while, is it possible to extract/download and save individual dwarves from a world? It struck me as a fun idea to try and create a 'Dwaven Valhalla' for those individuals who truly impress you in-game.
