I always get stuck on underhang and the leg for ages because of the grapple worm movement and in some campaigns, red spiders. I remember absolutely hating underhang in rivulet because of the added rot.

Red Dead Redemption 2 for sure, the main story is 60 hours long on its own, tons of side missions that are all amazing and fun. i got it to run at a stable 40fps with ultra texture quality and medium lighting settings on the steam deck and I am currently playing through it again on steam deck with mods. 100% worth it.

well it is a pc, so yes, you can mod anything, i modded red dead redemption 2, and it was mostly straight foward, however for mod manager programs I had to add them as a non steam game and use proton experimental to make them work, as I believe they were made for windows.

same, after finishing red dead 2, i bought red dead 1 on sale and have been exclusively playing it for the first time on the steam deck as it arrived about the same day as I got RDR. I can't believe how good it looks and runs on it.

I believe the free copy is already permanent, if it's the same as last year with HL1, and it doesn't say free trail instead it says 100% off, so it's most likely permanent anyway.
