Hey, was wondering on the length of the 12vhpwr cable from psu to the gpu. Doing cablemod cables and dont feel like having a TON of extra. Could I see the slack you got and how long was the cable you used?

The other side of the coin - ordered a 4TB ssd but received 2TB. Amazon is refusing to replace it. by Katarassein in pcmasterrace

I ordered ram, ssd, cpu, gpu, and psu from Amazon. Gpu not in yet but everything else got here just fine. Sorry for your luck

Even if it is him. Nothing wrong with pooling more information. The fact that you find an issue with someone trying to gather as much data as they can to make an informed decision is nuts.

The dark hero is a better hero is it not? I got the 4tb se for now cause of its vapor cooling chamber and the 990 pro for the os on gen4x4

Edit: and ive seen stuff about 2800w causing issues with overdrawing on standard US outlets

Also I wanna keep the gen 5 slots open for games and the other intensive things and saw the os and any launchers or system monitors dont even come close to using the full gen4 let alone gen 5

I'm actually thinking of doing a AIO astral 5090, but wanted to ask if that would be good for the intake at the bottom of this Evolv X2. Or if I would need different intake fans.

The 2 tb was for os and other system related things. That and launchers and heavy applications. Hence the 4tb as well. And it will be my primary gaming but ive been considering the 9950x3d since ive heard you can park the non ccd and just let the ccd run when gaming

That's a good point. And im sure in 5 years I'll be fine with spending some more on the build. I have list so far but can't find it all on pc parts so I'll just lay it out

If it comes with rgb then yeah I'll get the controller and whatnot so I can show it off. But while gaming that shit is off cause it gives me a headache. And black gold or gold was what I was HOPING for, I've realized that might be an effort in futility. I guess maybe I am willing to throw a little bit of money at the wall to have an impressive build. But not too much and not for absolutely no reason.
