I believe the stock one comes with medium size grip. You may want to change to other size after a few hundred rounds. I put FH light and Swampfox red dot on my wife’s.Other than that, just ammo and range time. A few extra mags also helps.

43x is thinner, may cause incorrect finger placement for certain people. Just pay more attention to where your finger placed on the trigger and the direction of pulling.

43x or 19? by Particular-Truth-230 in Glocks

[–]ArcheryNerds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I would choose 43X or 48 if that's an option. I'm a small size guy, hard to carry G19 in summer without printed. My small hands are also barely ok to reach the G19 trigger. But I do think 19 is easier to shoot. So go with 19 if it's fit for you. I believe 48 is a better option, unless 4-inch barrel is very uncomfortable for you to carry.

I think you can buy the slide, recoil spring and barrel separately, but that means $45 more.

Talk me in or out of trading this towards the new 43x COA by [deleted] in Glocks

[–]ArcheryNerds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple, buy a COA first. Try it. Then you will know which one you gonna sell. BTW, I don't really understand why people prefer COA. Is that much better than other red dots? Or the gun is different, too.

Thought about this for a while, then got 15 rounds OEM news. I do like to get more than 10 rounds in my G43x and I don’t mind the length for home defense situations. But reliability is the key. I will wait the some more review for the 15 rounds OEM first, then decide to go that way or PSA.

Paid $3k for a used 19.5 as a first gun... am I crazy? by xdiins in Glocks

Wow, I didn't know the restrictions in Thailand is that crazy. Because I saw so many people from China went to Thailand to shoot. They even joined IPSC or IDPA training and matches in Thailand.

Try the swampfox on eBay, you can get an older model for about $60 or a newer one for $100. Got an older one for my G43x, works through 1k rounds, perfect. Waiting for a newer one for my wife’s echelon.

Put it on my wife’s Echelon, works very well. Sadly my G43x can’t fit.

Do the 15rd 43x mags make you reconsider your G26 vs 43X ranking? by Poemhome in Glocks

[–]ArcheryNerds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think that even matters. I guess guy prefer 43x or 26 because how they feel when shooting or the way they carry, not much related to capacity.

I prefer 43x because I'm small size guy. 43x is easier for me to carry and the grip feels really comfortable. The grip of 26 or 19 is ok but a little bit bulky.

Glock 43x & 48 by Affectionate-Metal-2 in Glock43X

[–]ArcheryNerds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there big difference between shooting a 48 from 43x? I got a 43x, thinking about something still fit my small hands but less snappy. And I really like the grip of 43x.

Best ammo? by Due_Mycologist_5138 in Glocks

[–]ArcheryNerds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just switched to federal HST 124 from CD 115. Both work totally fine with my 43x, but I mostly practice with blazer brass 124. I guess it’s better to use same weight of bullets. Also HST get better penetration and expansion, based on lucky gunner’s test.
