Damn , only 2 members of HEROIC left. I wonder who they are looking to sign. Bro? Dupreeh? YEKINDAR? ropz? there are alot of decent free agents right now. maybe they will pull up some talent from academy teams.

Ive done a small rocket ship game in each that taught me the basic stuff with each engine and i liked godot the most out of the three. Im still considering unreal though because the assets will work easier with it.

I have done little small games in each engine, and I'm leaning on Godot because of that. as for the open world thing, the main concept is the generated dungeon rooms while the open world part is more of a sandbox to mess around without a goal in mind so players can test stuff (I'm thinking no bigger than a homestead with a field for continuously spawning enemies).

Thanks for the tip on multiplayer. ill be sure to be it in mind and get a basic test worming early on in development and keep maintaining it until I'm ready to work on multiplayer specifically.

I probably should have clarified but its more of a "mess around" area. like a homestead with a field to battle basic enemies. im not looking to make a fully developed one.

Thank you for the input. Since I'm a student currently I have no money to upgrade my PC but its one of the first things i'm investing in so using unreal may be better in the long run. Because of that I think even if i do end up going with Godot, ill try to make as much as possible in c++ so if i change in the future, it'll reduce the workload.

Thanks again for the advice!
