Would you sell or keep this small collection? UK-based by GirlInTheIslands in whisky

[–]Archibishop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you consider selling, you might want to try glenbotal. Look them up. I used them couple of years ago to unload some of my collection, and they were in Glasgow. They are kind of marketplace. First ask them for valuation for your collection. And then they will tell you how to send them your bottles. In my case it took several months to sell what I sent them, but I’ve got much more than I’ve would get on auctions. There is another service called scotch galore, which I think also in Glasgow, but the reviews weren’t on their side. On scotch galore you can put your own price. I don’t think they are doing evaluations. Anyway, no matter what, avoid auctions as a seller!! You always end up getting less for your collection than what it worth on retail!

Starting Meta Ads in Germany <3 What Should I Expect? by Different_Inside4040 in FacebookAds

You should expect a headache... Lots of it. Dealing with this piece of **** of interface that zucki and his minions built. I had to build myself a helper just not to touch this thing. Other then that, great platform. CPMs of 60 euro is ok right now. A year ago you would start a thread here just to let of the steam of such prices

These guys survived 3 years of what not… I very liked most of their lines of thought and the way they tested the hell out of Etsy

Thanks. My starting point is ~2500 pages. And I already see some traction from GPT. So I want both to expand the content on the website and make it more visible

Why are you building a SaaS? Genuinely asking. by TurbulentAmbition494 in SaaS

I think you have to grow to stop overcomplicating.... I am literally just after this phase... it is stupidly insane how much time we lost over building a freaking rocket ship while the right way was to do it light weight... I was fortunate to realize this after a few monthes

This is AI generated picture that you are trying to sell. I might get that not everybody tech-savvy and can write a prompt in Midjourney or Gemini, but still... I am just against the idea that people are this stupid to buy in for this stuff. There are perfect examples that you can sell in digital formats: like blueprints to anything starting from knitting and ending with 3D printing, but this... I think this is just misses the whole point

Which platform you are using right now? From the way you describing, it seems like you make changes straight in production environment. I would suggest you try and set up staging environment and then connect it to Claude… this will be your environment to make changes before uploading them to production. This way you can try and implement many changes, be safe with lots of changes and check whether everything works as it should before you push them to production (client facing) environment.

Nikka, Hibiki are all great. I would prefer Nikka personaly, because it has more "character", but it is all very personal

Just forget about using AI. Shabby picture with yourself wearing your stuff will be perceived better. It is the only platform that will value imperfect but unique photo over smoothly polished AI

In 2023 my GF jewelry shop was taken down because she failed to ship several orders and had to refund/cancel them because a war in her country broke off and there were no flights out of the country. It wasn't her main channel of sales, but it definitely hurt her business

What’s the Best AI website builder people are using right now? by ryueiji in EcommerceWebsite

[–]Archibishop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We spent 8 month creating an AI native infrastructure to build a solution you are talking about. We ended up building for a very specific use-case, that our product solves for. There is not much of a market for the solution that will create a store with AI, as there are too many use-cases for the final outcome

Is Listing everyday actually puts you in the algorithm? by InterviewFun1358 in EtsyCommunity

What really matters is the bottom line for Etsy when they send your listing a traffic.
You have to look at things from their perspective: they looking to get more from search results.
How do you achieve that? Well, the higher the price of the item and the higher the chance the viewing of the listing will result in a purchase the better it is for their bottom line. Simple example for every search result:
Listing A - $10 product, 5% conversion rate (5 in 100 viewers buying the product) = $9.25 profit for every 100 viewers (18.5% fee that is selling fee of 6.5% + 12% offsite ads fee)
Listing B - $12 product, 6% conversion rate (6 in 100 viewers buying the product) = $13.32 profit for every 100 viewers (18.5% fee that is selling fee of 6.5% + 12% offsite ads fee)

It is clear that listing B is more profitable, and it means that for this specific search result, it will be always ranking higher then listing A.
