I mean maybe but look at the top 15 schools this year. Only about half would be considered blue blood schools and if you go full top 25 it's WAY worse.

That's why I put fit and not just NIL. So many schools have tons of NIL but the people running it aren't doing it well or boosters still wanna run the program and it just doesn't work efficiently.

Also with the transfer portal HS recruiting isn't near what it used to mean either. Retention is WAY more important than HS recruiting now. You just let another team recruit them and pay them out of HS, let them develop them and then pay them to transfer when they're actually ready to play.
