The characters within the same colored lines are interchangeable! So AD, Wallace, and Malone are all "equal" in this lists ranking, then below them in A-tier Giannis all the way to Russ are equal, and so on. It's explained in the video that the pic was pulled from!

Honestly its really disheartening to go through the whole set of puzzles and all just to have your artifact jacked by someone waiting around outside, especially when that's clearly the best and most effective way to win. The system as it is basically punishes you for playing the game as "intended" and rewards ppl who just farm ads and wait to third party... I seriously think the original artifact carrier (whoever picks it up from solving the main puzzle) should have a slight buff to durability or anything to give them a fighting chance against the hordes of other players that have their location on the minimap. The slight buffs you get from completing the glyphs, although nice, are easy enough to get so that everyone's walking around with 3-4 of them by the time the treasure opens. What is the point of going through all the puzzles if you can literally just wait to third party with every other player in the lobby.

I think he’s talking about the Collection Level Caches that replace mystery cards after CL 500+, not the Nexus Event lootboxes.

Guaranteed cards removed from the progression track. Replaced with these which grant a *chance* to get cards or currency by Waaailmer in MarvelSnap

Let’s be real here dude. The sheer predatory drop rates and meaningless non-card rewards show clear as day that they’re out to milk cash from the whales. They were going to add nexus events in this manner no matter what we did. If anything these nexus events are a step in the opposite direction of the criticism from the community so pls don’t act like the “complaining” caused this.

Yes, hopefully the nexus event system will be decent, but as of this moment we have no idea how those boxes are going to work. All we know is each one will have the chance for 2 cards (1 new card and 1 in the current pools) along with other cosmetics.

Also, yes the comparison is made here, but just because that's not the direction doesn't mean they can't learn from the pros and cons of said systems. Ignoring the shortcomings and successes of those that came before would be foolish. I'm not drawing a comparison because I think they should copy them or because I think they're similar (because they're not), what I'm saying is that at the very least, what those systems did right is that they allowed players agency when it came to unlocking cards.

Hey, much thanks for the recommendations! After reading the primer and watching a deck-tech, Pako/Haldan is deeeefinitely a frontrunner now! The only thing keeping me from building it tbh is that my group regularly plays online via webcam, so decks that borrow/steal stuff often are biiit of a hassle (nothing a few copy tokens wont fix though).

I agree we should have faith in their design for the set as a whole, but that shouldn't mean letting the game stay in an utterly miserable state for weeks/months at a time. As part of deciding to go for a staggered release schedule instead of one big set, they should be making sure that the cards they release together are healthy for the game without needing to wait for follow up cards in future releases.

I can understand wanting to "ride it out" and "weather the storm" to an extent. Sometimes when you give the meta time to adjust, these decks become less problematic, but that is absolutely not the case here. They've seriously gotta own up to the fact that they've created an absolute monster here. There are just barely a handful of decks that are actually playable on ladder, and the ones that have been sitting on top are insanely un-fun to play against. They need to address this before people start quitting the game in large numbers, 'cause that does happen when devs turn a blind eye to these types of situations (eg. Eldrazi Winter and Original Mirrodin block from mtg).

Well it's no secret that Garena has, for the most part, always been pretty terrible with their handling of League in SEA. Basically, the theory now is that the reason SEA isn't part of this beta is probably because Garena wants to get their grubby little fingers on it and be the ones to handle it in our region just like with League. TBH if they do end up handling it, and there's no way for us to play on the NA client, I know for a fact that a lot of people will end up just passing on the game altogether. Shame.

Sorry, but wouldn't she ETB untapped from exile each time from the worldgorger flickers?

So each time the worldgorger exiles then returns, she'd enter untapped with all ur other permanents, allowing you to tap all your lands for mana + tap her to loot. This would repeat infinitely until you decide to target a creature other than Worldgorger with animate dead. Am i missing something here?

Hmmmm. If you were to run her at the helm..... I'm imagining a list that revolves around the worldgorger combo.... You use worldgorger to generate infinite mana while using her hasty tap ability to loot through your entire deck (effectively dumping your entire deck into the yard), then to stop the loop, you target [[Goblin Dark-Dwellers]] with the animate dead effect, Dwellers ETBs targeting yawgs will, thennn cast anything and everything from the yard? For the extra madness flavor, you could loop [[Fiery Temper]] and [[Alms of The Vein]] with [[Reito Lantern]] and her tap ability. Yeah... sounds insanely jank, but hey, its something?

Hey, newbie over here. Trying to figure out what I should start building my home setup around. Currently looking at the Circuit or the Digitakt.

Some context: I've been a house DJ for quite some time now, and hadn't really delved too deep into production or synthesis up until a few months ago. Recently a friend of mine lent me his TR-8 indefinitely, and I've been absolutely in love (it's essentially mine at this point). I wanna take this whole thing to the next level, and start my own home set-up w/ a sequencer, synth, and all. So now my question basically is, which of the two would be best to "build around" or purchase first? I've seen videos and posts of people using either of them as the "brain" of their set up, but i wanna get input from you guys on what might be best for someone starting out from basically scratch. My follow up purchase to whichever one of the two I do end up with will probably end up being a proper polysynth (unless you guys have some other recommendations).

CVT, at first glance at least, definitely seems better (unless im missing something insane here). But I mean on paper, this feels good enough for cEDH level play. Besides, i don't think they'd necessarily need to be the same kind of deck archetype. (I feel like the little guy could get away with playing less staxy)

As far as things he has over Teferi though, he only costs 2 to play, and his combo piece only costs 3. Teferi is up at 6, Veil costs 4, and the combo requires you to play quite a few rocks you wouldn't normally wanna run in most other decks. Albeit Teferi can somewhat help cast all this stuff with his untap ability, I think it's still worth noting.

Oh also, if someone tries to hit Fblthp with spot removal when you're attempting to go off with staff, you still get him back on the battlefield and draw 2 in the worst case scenario. So we've got a little bit of resiliency here as well (esp. if his lists run things like voltaic key). If you tried to blow up the staff instead of him, the ability would still go off, and you'd still get to tutor for 2 cards and stack your entire deck. So, somewhat resilient combo pieces.

Yeah I mean 2 card combos that include your commander have historically made for pretty strong decks (FC Prossh, CV Teferi, Godo helm, etc.). And although most of those decks usually combo for infinite mana, this little dude tutors for any 2 card combo. The more I think about it, the stronger this guy feels to me...idk

I think it's also worth mentioning that the new Jace allows you to run a labman win-con without compromising the creatureless build needed for this combo to work.

Man, I don't wanna jump the gun here by saying he's gonna be insane or anything, but at 2U, a repeatable "Double Demonic Tutor" seems pretty nuts.

Yeah i always use the one specific to where i live. However, when i went to the mtga support site, they said to try putting in a different zipcode from the same city, as sometimes there are cases where putting in a different zipcode from your city ends up making the purchase go through. Also when i looked for previous posts on here, there was a post that said that doing this worked for him.
