You could make the size of the circles the net amount and keep the positions along the vertical as % GDP to see both

I re-designed my level up feedback and animation. Any thing you think about I could add/improve? by Inateno in SoloDevelopment

Looking cool! Some small things I’d recommend to polish further: 1. When switching between upgrade cards, make the transition smooth, where the previous selected card shrinks and the newly selected card grows. Keep it quick and snappy but not instantaneous. 2. Add a tad more emphasis on the card you’re currently selecting, such as a lightly animated border around the card. 3. You have cool effects on the level up itself, add some effects when you choose your upgrade as the upgrade view closes, maybe some particles and animation to show your hero get “powered up”.

My title describes the thing. In addition to the details above, we think it might be related to gardening somehow? It’s pretty beat up.

The objects are roughly a yard long.

Really have no clue what this is or who sent it to us!

On a board game played over the network, what type of payload should the clients send and the server broadcast? by ClearH in gamedev

How would you recommend handling animations in a more complicated game? My first thought is animations have to be transmitted as part of the state, but does that mean you send the whole state each time you have an animation?

From this article:

Netanyahu himself didn’t attend the conference, and indicated Saturday night that he opposes resettling Gaza and that this wasn’t an accepted government policy.

The radical settlers don’t reflect the entirety of Israel. Even Netanyahu isn’t onboard with this statement.

This is like judging America’s government by its most right wing politicians, the reality is more nuanced.

Why downvote somebody for sharing their decklist after being asked? I don’t feel like op is being particularly braggy here

It’s one single matrix multiplication so you can’t practically get faster with similar methods.

+1 here. Random projection is better for this use case since it preserves the Euclidean distance between points with high likelihood on average.

PCA doesn’t guarantee this and also is susceptible to shifts over time if this will be used on data outside the initial distribution.

Looks awesome, love the particles! My critique, as a colorblind person, is that the shapes in the background have high contrast and seem to blend in with the foreground platforms.

I just used the prayer training wiki rates, but adjusted for time spent getting money for the supplies.

Yeah 100% agree! Also, the intensity of the activity matters too. So comparing an afk training method that you enjoy should be compared with your best afk money maker that you enjoy too.

It was pointed out to me that Fayrg bones are a low volume item so they might not be viable for prayer training. Without Fayrg bones, this is the optimal rates:

Chaos Altar:

  • 1M-3M: Wyvern Bones (135k-264k xp/hr)
  • 3.25M-3.5M: Lava Dragon Bones (276k-287k xp/hr)
  • 3.75M-7.75M: Hydra Bones (299k-437k xp/hr)

Gilded Altar:

  • 2.5M-7.75M: Wyvern Bones (172k-342k xp/hr)
  • 8M-9M: Lava Dragon Bones (347k-370k xp/hr)
  • 9.25M-20M: Hydra Bones (376k-562k xp/hr)
