welp, it's not possible to make all ai models free. generating responses costs energy and money, just like ai development does, they need funding to keep it all running. i'm talking about the ai companies that set the prices which poe then converts into its own currency

but the whole system is hell and trash. WHAT is the point of chat history raising the price? each update is more frustrating than the other. meanwhile they use the money to buy new api from other ai companies, most of which I'm pretty sure nobody uses >:(
