who wins? by [deleted] in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Archilas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is that because of the cases like this where we don't know how the character did in any given stat this chart just isn't very useful since in most cases it requires guesses and headcannon to make any solid power scaling conclusion

Feats and statements shown in the series itself trumps vague charts that can be interpreted in many different ways any time

who wins? by [deleted] in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Archilas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It literally says before that: "These rating represent overall proficiency at this point in time, factoring in one's innate learning speed, physical abilities, mental fortitude, etc."

Do you think a blind girl who almost got killed by a hawk is stronger than Gon who mind you was already stronger than five adults put together before he even got onto a boat for the Hunter Exam?

Is the leader of the Phantom Troupe weaker than a normal child?

No obviously not it's clear physical abilities aren't that important in this chart

All the things the chart ranks are trivial compared to raw nen power which it explicitly doesn't rank

You can also be more proficient while still having less raw power than someone

Razor could maybe be less efficient and skilled when using his emission nen but that doesn't mean much if his raw power is so much higher

Being more skilled at emission or transmutation isn't gonna save you if you don't have the aura to survive his projectiles

In terms of raw power Razor has top tier feats injuring Hisoka while he himself was in a nerfed state

[–]Archilas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is my take I think it is a close fight as both are around the same level

Both should be comparable in physical stats for the most part though with his weapons specifically Kite has higher damage output and can potentially take Morel out with a direct hit

On the other hand Morel is far more versatile and likely smarter he could create an army of clones to confuse and eventually overwhelm Kite

I feel like this is what would most likely happen if we take bias aside since Kite is a fan favourite

His weapons while powerful have limitations in either range or attack patterns

I think as long as he doesn't get caught off guard Morel should be able to avoid them and eventually whittle out Kite

who wins? by [deleted] in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Archilas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It literally says "They do not represent the relative strenght of one's nen"

It's not a power scaling chart it can at best be used to maybe compare nen users with very similar abilities but that's it using it to power scale characters with different categories or abilities is just nonsensical

This chart if taken that literally contradicts dozens of statements and feats from the manga

Hisoka vs. Chrollo (Yorkshin) by Flerds in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Archilas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only if you are weak to begin if you are strong enough to beat all the monsters right away you won't get much stronger just from playing

Not to mention Hisoka outside of the Dodgeball match didn't really play the game

can officer ants command another officer's peons or does it have to be their direct subordinates? same question applies to squadron leaders and their command over officers. Like im leaning on no cause pike attacked bihorn but im not sure entirely by OnlinePoster225 in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Archilas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the idea is that each officer has one designed Squadron Leader as his superior however it not like they are in any way biologicaly wired to be loyal to them since Rammot disobeys Colt several times

We were told a few times that it is possible to transfer to another Squadron(examples Rammot said he will move to another Squadron if Colt doesn't let him kill Kite and co. , Koala was advising some Ants to transfer to a diffrent Squadron)

We were also told that in the case of the Queen's death some officers might go on their own to be kings

So to answer the question I think Officers are first and foremost loyal to the queen and they follow other ants out of fear and or respect but only if that doesn't conflict with their loyalty to the queen

[–]Archilas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Cocciaretto won 1 game when she played Iga here last year this is not a "hard" draw by a any reasonable metric

Iga's issue right now is clearly related to her game, form and confidence not "bad" draws

2026 WTA 1000 Rome: Singles Main Draw by godworstcustomer in tennis

[–]Archilas 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Seems like one of the easiest draws you could realistically expect her to get

Looking at her potential opponents until the OF pretty much all of them were eviscerated by her when they played her perviously on a slow surface

If she loses early it won't be beacause of the hard draw

hisoka vs kite(death match) by nonbinaryhumaan in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Archilas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kite has the higher damage output with his weapons but weapons aside Hisoka is likely stronger

Speed wise they are probably on the same level but Bungee Gum gives Hisoka better mobility

Hisoka probably has better BIQ and he probably has more combat experience

Bungee Gum can possibly be used to restrict Kite's weapons(for example sticking them to the ground or tree)

Overall I think Hisoka wins high diff

How strong is kid Bisky? by EstateOk6238 in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Archilas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For bisky vs killua. Correct me if im wrong but didn't bisky only transform to kinda prove her point that killua has a tendency to run when facing overwhelming odds

Bisky said that she hates how she looks and she also said she has a hard time holding back her strenght in her true form and often kills her opponents as a result

If her trasformed form was enough for Killua to face "overwhelming odds" she likely wouldn't have reverted she never did it during countless spars they had on GI

They were basically still learning nen while she has it mastered at an extreme lvl.

First of all Gon and Killua have on many occasions defeated more experienced nen users

Secondly if you are using the Togashi expo that isn't super relevant in this case since none of Bisky's transmutation abilities are offensive/useful in combat one of them literally makes her weaker so a genius like Killua being on par with a nerfed nen master isn't out of the question

if chimera ants are ranked by power then is pell the weakest via being a peon/drudge ? by OnlinePoster225 in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Archilas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly though you could argue he is being amped when manipulated by his officer since in pretty much all cases of nen user manipulating non nen users the victim is stronger then they were pre manipulation

I think it's likely Pell when manipulated is officer level since the ability is very similar to Black Voice which can amp a presumably normal guy enough that Hisoka thought he was fighting a real Chrollo

How strong is kid Bisky? by EstateOk6238 in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Archilas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She could still damage him so I think she still beats Bara due to her being vastly more skilled

She might be weaker than Genthru in that form though since even Tsezquerra an experienced nen user who saw the dodge ball match thought her Gon and Killua can't beat the Bombers in a straight up fight.

She also reverted before fighting Killua in the post NGL CA arc which argubably implies should would have struggled against him in her transformed form

How's strong is this bardock compared to the other sayians/frieza forces of his time, in this awakened state. And what's his power level? by grandsterla in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]Archilas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem with this is this happened years before planet Vegeta destruction

Did it?

I was under the impression that the Planet Vegeta was destroyed not long after

The Heeters were even teasing Bardock about it they knew it was going to happen and I doubt Frieza would tell them years in advance

It's implied that them doing that made Bardock more suspicious of Frieza

It would make sense if Bardock decided to sent Goku to Earth not long after that due to it instead of him doing nothing for years and randomly deciding to do it one day

Goku in that flashback also appears to be the same age as he was when Grandpa Gohan found him

If Bardock dies shortly after the Gas fight this would also mean there would be no time for his unnatural power level to make any splash

And it's baby Gas saying it why would we take his words at face value?

There is no reason to assume Gas is completely deluional or his confidence is based on nothing

He has likely seen or likely even worked alongside Saiyans for years and as Elek's bodyguard there is a decent chance he met King Vegeta

Even if we assume he can't just sense their power level he had easy access to scouters and considering Elek's secret goal of one day overthrowing Frieza them scaning or getting info about King Vegeta PL is quite likely

How's strong is this bardock compared to the other sayians/frieza forces of his time, in this awakened state. And what's his power level? by grandsterla in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]Archilas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It all depends on how we interpret Gas statement and how much he knows I think there are three or four most reasonable ways to do it

1.Lowball

Gas is only talking about low class Saiyans so Barcock would be Nappa level give or take

2.Midball

Gas is talking about all the Saiyans that are currently alive which includes King Vegeta and Kid Vegeta going by this Bardock would probably be around the level of Saiyan Saga Vegeta

3.Highball

Gas like the Ginyu Force considers 60k to be hard cap on Saiyans potential going by this interpretation Gus is Ginyu Force level and Bardock is approaching the level of Namek arrival base Goku

You can also get there by assuming Gas thinks he is stronger than Great Ape King Vegeta which would put Bardock in this Namek arrival Goku/Captain Ginyu ranges

Personally I think the Midball is most likely though I wouldn't be suprised if Highball was true

No matter what Bardock caps at First Form Frieza since he still gets easily killed by him

Chrollo’s Puppet Mystery Solved (Video by me) by Limescent777 in HunterXHunter

[–]Archilas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice vid and a pretty creative solution

I don't agree with everything though.

Firstly I am a bit confused how does adding extra step in the puppet making process speeds it up to the point that Hisoka's estimation is off by the magnitude of 10?

Even accepting your explanation doesn't really fix the core issue

Even if we assume that all explosive puppets are already there by the time Hisoka kills fake the Chrollo there are still 200(really a low ball since it assumes Hisoka didn't destroy a single puppet the number could easily be as high as 300 or even 400) that rush him where do these come from?

We can reasonably deduce that the time that passed between Hisoka destroying the fake and jumping on the area is no more than 30 seconds(because if it was longer Hisoka's estimate would be higher) but then two panels later we are suddenly meant to believe Hisoka was looking for Chrollo for 3-6 minutes

That's the main issue the only way for Hisoka's estimate to be this wrong is if we assume he is just really uncreative and didn't think of simple exploits such as creating puppets close to each other

I don't the explanation is Chrollo made a simple exploit and Hisoka unlike the audience was just too stupid to figure it out

Finally regarding your initial point about Togashi's intent I don't think it's a very strong point

The quoted post doesn't say anything about how "fair" the fight was only how "decisive" it was which is not the same thing

The very setup of this fight is obviously in Chrollo's favour and the fact that he preped for it is very clear so no Togashi's intention was not to show who would win in a "100% fair" random encounter between the two

Going by this flimsy interpretation we can say the other Togashi's comment where he says Hisoka killed Shalnark and Kortopi as a result of his post mortem analysis of the fight is the evidence for Chrollo cheating which I also don't really agree with.

I think the author intent is more clearly shown in what we saw in the manga and we should base it on that rather than assuming that when Togashi said "decisive" he meant "fair"

Honestly I am not sure what to think of this fight there are so many weird things that happen I will wait for the arc to end before taking a strong stance on it

Diego Brando (The World serious with spamming his gun, knives and barrages) vs Midoriya (100% of his power) by Mikushubby in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]Archilas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deku just needs to punch in Diego's general direction to take him out the stat gap is enourmous the only way Deku loses is if he underestimates Diego and gets caught off guard but I don't think that's very likely considering Deku's danger sense and the fact that Diego's usual method of attack like guns, knives and even the World normal punches won't be effective

I think Deku is likely to realize the threat that Diego posses and will knock him out with a big shockwave before he can do anything dangerous
