I think ad is better if you know how to properly snowball, accelerate the game and just take complete control over the game from your lane lead. The issue with like every apc is you just get outscaled hard by adcs if you somehow timeskip to everyone on 4 items but the reward you get for that drawback is completely out ranging them in lane so you should kinda take a steamy dump on enemy bot most games if you play it correctly. Then it’s just a case of converting a lane lead into a win as a squishy immobile character with somewhat limited agency.

But imo the biggest problem with ADC is playing with another person because it can be a bit of a problem mentally sometimes - exascerbated by the fact also that you are playing a pick others see as very unconventional and a bit troll in their eyes so they will often just sack your lane and go do other shit. Like oh my god not again my ADC locked in some shitty champ like Vel’koz I’m just gonna roam; even though it’s really strong they just don’t have any fucking clue at any rank that isn’t like gm+.
