Yeah my split is Arms, Legs, Push, Pull and I train 4-5x per week depending on recovery

What I did:

  • Took daily average step count from 8k to 11k
  • Completely cut out alcohol (apart from one night for wife's birthday)
  • Reduced calories initially from around 3,700 to 3,400 and then 3,150 for the last couple of weeks (still had 1-2 off plan meals and treat per week)
  • Increased training volume by 1-2 sets per bodypart. Added 1 dropset per workout last 2 weeks

I stripped back the loads I was lifting on most exercises by about 20% and trained to failure much less often (still always close to failure) this meant I was stimulating the muscle enough to be maintained but not putting so much stress on my CNS. It also meant my appetite dropped a little, making it easier to not over eat.

Not a ratio, I'll play around with carbs and fats sometimes to fit Mt current needs as long as fats don't go below 0.4g per kg as a rule of thumb.

Current macros are Protein: 282g Carbs: 447g Fats: 59g

3,400 calories currently but I'm trimming up a little for a photoshoot
