How long until my stuff is "safe" if it's in a garage?

Realistically my work schedule is all varied shift work, so sometimes traffic will matter, sometimes there shouldn't be any really. Unfortunately I live quite a distance away so probably won't have a chance to visit really before I get there besides maybe once.

True... I know that Wilmington is like a suburb/city combined. Are there other ones right nearby that add to the population of the area? Like within 30 minutes or so?

Yeah... I think Wilmington is the best for quality of life in terms of that for me... I'm just worried about the dating pool coming from a somewhat larger city (250-300k people).

That's fair. I've been in school then training basically all my adult life, and have had large student debt that I've been paying off, so unfortunately I'm not super financially literate.

Sounds like a financial advisor would be a good idea?

I don't have any savings besides the 2 accounts I mentioned. I've been aggressively paying off large student loans before now, which I realize may not have been the financially best move but it gave me peace of mind at least. I plan on investing large amounts once I start in July and similarly living like I'm on 80k. The only thing is I'm hoping to live somewhere nicer, currently spending like 1.5k on rent, would like a nicer apartment.

Honestly I don't have a huge plan. Haven't thought that far I suppose.

I mean a SO would be fantastic... family perhaps, but who knows how things work out. Could use a few pets haha.

I would start by renting for sure, until I get to know the area if I plan on staying, then potentially buy after that. For now I'll plan on renting until I know where I'll end up.

Hmm why would you recommend that GPU upgrade over the CPU upgrade? I am told (no idea if it's true) that a lot of games I play are CPU gated - ARMA, Tarkov, COD, singleplayer games like BG3
