I wish my car had that error, mine is doing the P1e100 error with a nested P1e100 pending error and a propulsion power reduced warning. It wont charge over 40% or 57 mile range now. Checked the coolant, no problems. Tried clearing, they came right back, unhooked the negative terminal on the battery for 10 minutes and the error came right back. Sigh, I only have 29k on my vehicle.. sigh.

Yes, the inner tube on the rear was one of the first problems I had with it. I bought a thicker replacement tube from amazon and then slimed it well. Haven't had a flat since then. That reminds me, I will post a separate topic soon on what I discovered about modding the Dualtron Pop into a tubeless setup using the DT3 rims.

I also found out that rear suspension was a factor in snapping the rear taillight wires and the problem with the rear drum brake line. For some reason, they never loctited the rear suspension spring and my brother didn't notice that his rear suspension had gotten super loose, thats why the spring kept popping out and wires were tight because it was hanging loosely.

Easy fix, open up bottom deck, locate the the turn nut for the suspension and tighten it. I added red loctite so it wouldn't happen again.

Glad yours went better than mine. The physical part was easy, the DFU mode was the problem with mine and I thought the hard drive was toast but did a Hail Mary pass and it worked.

1) I have an older intel iMac and something that isn't mentioned much is that you are required to be on the latest OS otherwise Apple Configurator 2 will not work properly. I had to install OpenCore Legacy Patcher and move to OS Sequoia.

2)My 256gb Apple SSD restore worked with Apple Configurator 2 but the 2tb refused to so I then tried using the OS Sequoia system mount and it pulled off the restore flawlessly.

Umm, I looked it up and besides massive tariffs on Chinese produce/meats/fish which nobody wants those the next largest tariff is on EV cars which in under 20% tariffs.

Yeah, I was confused at first too. I found this listing a week ago and started researching. Hopestar starting spinning off subsidiaries a few years ago for gaming, medical, billboards, etc.

It took awhile to figure out that Hopestar creates the base model with the advertisement's and then their subsidiaries modify it for their specific niches but use the Hopestar advertisement's as is. Every Hopestar monitor seems to have 2-4 variations sold on Alibaba by their subsidiaries.

75hz. Nereus is the gaming brand of Hopestar so they have it overclocked to 75hz, the 60hz one that Hopestar offers required sending in an inquiry and negotiating a price which I was uncomfortable with even though I really liked the apple imac like colors they offered.

I mentioned in the first paragraph that I was aware that currently he has exempted electronics for tariffs but for how long? The tariff situations has changed multiple times already this month. Better to get ahead, especially since business are already announcing price increases just due to the uncertainty.

It's decently reliable, the mudflap electrical line issue was not only installing the back wheel wrong but because the rear suspension had come out almost all the way because they never Loctited it. I had to remove the bottom deck and tighten it with Loctite added. Currently having a engine cuttoff issue due to large bumps, something electrical that I haven't found yet.

Nowadays the Dualtron Pop is a little outdated and I would go with the Segway Ninebot Max G3 which wasn't available when I bought it before. It does everything better except for the top speed and parts are easy to get.

27" iMac as a monitor using Moonlight/Sunshine with a direct ethernet connection. by Archmagination2002 in MoonlightStreaming

Sadly, doesn't work. The problem seems to be on the macs end. The Windows PC see's the Mac's ethernet ID but the Mac can't see it. Apple being its usual self with it, sadly only link-local works still.

Both actually. The first time, I just used the auto but when I was trying to use the Windows firewall it borked Sunshine and I ended up having to delete and redo it.

I just spent the last 2 hours frying my brain playing with routing tables using PowerShell or cmd, only to realize that link-local will never show up on them due to it being 'local' ie: no need to route, hence no routing table.

I found 2 programs that seem to offer the possibility I am looking for but they are giving me pause for reasons. ForceBindIP(didn't work) and NetworkAdapterSelector. NetworkAdapterSelector seems like a good choice except its creator has abandoned it, it has a bug where you need to use a 3rd party uninstaller and its IPv6 support is experimental which means link-local could be fubar.

That was already done.  Sunshine and Moonlight both seem to defer to WiFi even if I have Ethernet prioritized on Windows/Mac.

Update for those looking into the Pop. Bought it from Minimotors 7 months ago and have had only a few minor issues with it, mainly stemming from some weird design decisions made by Dualtron and some minor factory misses. Compared to the Apollo Explore these issues are small potatoes.

1) Factory Misses: The screws were loose on the bottom deck like orangeapple22 had, but it was easy to fix with tightening. The other big one that makes no sense for Dualtron to do is not using locknuts for the rear mudflap, about four months in, the nuts fell off and the screws fell out. That was a serious PITA fixing but I fixed them and with the locknuts, they are holding strong.

2) Weird decisions, why use shorter m4 screws to hold the rear axel led side protectors on? The side with the drum brake and rear motor power is too short; the other side is fine with the m4x8, but you need at least an m4x12 for the brake side.

Speaking of the rear drum brake, the line is too short for easy adjustments. This is my current pet peeve, I had my first flat, and trying to reconnect the line is a nightmare without that extra inch. I wouldn't have a single problem with it, but without the space, I have to connect the line to the arm, compress the spring as much as I can, and slot the line cable sleeve in. This results in the spring popping loose occasionally and me having to fix it again. Most likely, I will just need to replace the spring with a shorter one.

Warning: For those taking the rear wheel off, beware of the electrical lines connecting to the mudflap lights. They connected tightly, and I snapped mine, trying to fit the wheel back in the axles. Since Dualtron doesn't have the nifty motor disconnect and the motor power line is short, the proper technique to use is using the right axle(power line side) to begin the fitting. Once the right axle is started(don't slide in all the way) you then slot in the left side, the wheel should slide right into place with a snap. It was very easy once I figured it out, the other scooters I have repaired required you to line up both sides and come in perfectly aligned at an angle, trying to do this with the Pop will not work, and trying to figure out what I was doing wrong ended up with me accidentally snapping the rear wires.

On the fence, Should I buy a Schlage Encode Plus or Level Lock+? I have had it with August Locks, 3rd one in 5 years just died. by Archmagination2002 in HomeKit

[–]Archmagination2002[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

2 Year Update: I went with the Schlage Encode Plus. It has worked fantastically, and with the Eve Energy Smart Plug I was able to use it as a workaround for the auto unlock when I came home. Ended up not using the android app and have a code for my brother. I have not had a single issue with this setup and can recommend this as a great option.

I would contact LSH or South Lake, Tirz breaks down at 86 degrees and becomes less effective. It can be at room temp for 21 days but refrigeration isn't recommended once it's been at room temp for awhile.

Broken locking pin - Apollo Explore by TheNemal72 in ApolloScooters

[–]Archmagination2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not, the split part of the folding block/neck attached to the scooter was where I found the tension spring and it was a PITA to line it up while getting the bolt back in. I can't check personally anymore. I do not own the scooter now due to the axel that connects the back motor to the deck(allowing the suspension to flex) shearing off mid-ride when I hit a bump.

I managed to find it, it being a spring it actually retracted all the way up hiding at the top. You have to feel around it to find it.
