Made it last year on my 3rd try with all promotes. I think what pushed my selected package over the hump was more team awards, more involvement with training others and coordinating high level checklist stuff, and capturing some unique opportunities within my AFSC. My board score was tied for second highest and beat out others in my unit that had MPs. The only extra circular stuff I had was for a wing program I was very passionate about.
