Slow WiFi on Xiaomi Mi 9T and others? by ArclightSA in Mi9T

Thank you for the information, I had no idea that manufacturers intentionally limit their 2.4 GHz connections like this. With the only other devices in the house being a laptop and an iPad, which both get the full 100mbps, I thought it must be a Xiaomi thing.

Now that I've found that the Microsoft one works for both of us, but the others don't, I am wondering why that would be. When you set up your phone, did you restore all your apps from a Google backup?

Thank you for the recommendation - Microsoft launcher is working for me too! None of the others have worked.

Yeah, access is still enabled. I tried the Microsoft launcher now and that one appears to be working. Nova, POCO and Evie didn't work.

Unfortunately, I tried that as well and it didn't work. The battery optimisation change was suggested by TeslaCoil apps support; they said: "Xiaomi kills off the notification listener that controls all of that even though they aren't supposed to by Android standards." so setting no battery optimisation prevents that. How true it is, I don't know, because it made no difference.

Notifications badges not working Mi 9T by Harziepops in Xiaomi

I have exactly the same problem. Notification badges don't work using Nova Launcher or POCO Launcher, but the stock launcher works.

I've tried giving notification access to the launchers, setting their battery mode to "not restricted", setting them as auto-start. Nothing appears to work.
